Section 1. f WORTH, Gl1
That the following described territory within the corporate limits of the City
of Fort `orth is hereby discontinued as a *)art of the ,ity of ?ort North and said
tract of land is described by metes and bounds as follows:
B IN', a tract of land about 10 males northeast from the Courthouse
of Tarrant County, Texas, and lyim- in and including all or part of the
S. Cotrail, A. B. Howerton, ?,'. P. Burns, J. A. Hust, J. Overton, W.Bradshaw, S. Davis, J. Armendaris, ;. J. Bonner, A. Hampton, and J. R.
'ewton Surveys, and being more fully described as follows,
P731N�TIn�C: at the intersection of the east right-of-Tray line of Ranndol
'.'ill-Hurst-Precinct Line Road (County Road No. 303 ) with the middle of
the Trinity :Liver;
TH-4NTCE down the middle of the Trinity River, with its meanders, in
an easterly direction, to its intersection with the north line of the
J. L. Hall-Lim Survey;
THSNCE east, along the north line of the J. L. Hallum Survey, to
its intersection with the west right-of-way line of Bedford Arlington
Road (County Road No. 3091!);
TH-IVCE north, along the west right-of-way line of Pedford Arlington
Road (County Road ',To. 309h) to its intersection with the south right-of-
way line of the C R I 9! G H.R.;
TH'ITCE westerly, along the southerly right-of-way line of the C R I K.
I R.'t. to its intersection with the east line of the R. '. Barton Survey;
TqEPrC7 south, along the east lines of the R. P. Barton and. W. P.
Burns Surveys to a point 2000 feet south from the southerly right-of-way
line of the -C R I & C R.R. ;
TFrS `C3 westerly, alone a line narallel to and 2000 feet southerly
from the southerly right-of-way line of the C R I & G R.R., to its inter-
section with the east right-of-way line of Souder Hurst Road (County Road
No. 3104);
THENCE south, alone_ the east right-of-way line of Soud.er Hurst Road
(County Road No. 31Dl4), to its intersection with the south right-of-way
line of Trammell-Davis Road (County Road No. 3112);
THE'?CE west, along the south right-ef-way line of Trammell-Davis
Road (County Road No. 3112), to its intersection with the east right-of-
way line of Randol Mill-Hurst-Precinct Line Road (County Road No. 3035);
THENCE south, along the east right-of-way line of Randal Mill-Hurst-
Precinct Line Road (County ?toad No. 3035), to the place of beginning and
containing anoroximately 3.22F square miles.
Section 2.
That this ordinance shall and does hereby amend every prior ordinance in con-
flict herewith, and more particularly this ordinance expressly amends Ordinance No.
3871, heretofore adopted and nassed on Yay 233 1958, but as to all other ordinances
or sections of o-dinance.,3 not in direct conflict hereTvr-lth, this ordinance shall be
and is hereby made curul2tive.
Section 3.
If any section, subsection or provision of this ordinance shall be held invalid
or unconstitutional by a court of competent jurisdiction, the oortion so held to be
invalid or unconstitutional shall not affect any other part of the ordinance, which
shall remain in full force and effect.
Secti on LIL.
This ordinance, after it has been duly massed, shall be entered as an order on
the minutes and permanent records of the City of 'Fort North, from and after the date
of its entry, the territory hereirbefore described shall cease to be a cart of the
City of Fort '�,,orth.
Section 5-
This this Ordinance shall becorn effective and shall be in full force and effect
from and after its aassa,7e, and it i-s so ordained.
