COUNTY OF TEXAS § CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO.
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth ("City") and Dunaway Associates, L.P.
("Consultant") made and entered into City of Fort Worth City Secretary Contract No. 35254
("Contract"); and
WHEREAS,the Contract involves professional services for the following project:
Foster Park Parking Improvements; and
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to amend the Contract to include an increased scope
of work and/or revised maximum fee.
NOW, THEREFORE, City and Consultant, acting herein by and through their
duly authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement which amends the contract:
1.
Article I, Section A of the Contract is amended to include the additional engineering
services specified in a letter dated January 24, 2008, a copy of which is attached hereto and
incorporated herein.
2.
Article II of the Contract is amended to provide for an increase in the maximum fee in
the amount of 7,000, which is to be paid to Consultant for all work and services under the
Contract, as amended, so that the total fee to be paid by City for all work and services shall not
exceed the sum of 55,500.
3.
All other provisions of the Contract that are not expressly amended herein shall remain in
full force and effect.

Reference: Foster Park Improvements—Additional Services
Dear Scott:
The conceptual plan for the north parking lot includes the proposed lot with the accompanying
Opinion of Probable Cost and a possible future expansion not included in our original costs
proposal. Taking the next step with the possible future expansion and developing the concept
to the point it can become a Bid Alternate will require additional efforts that are outside the
scope of our current contract.
The required additional work will involve the following:
1. Development of Grading and Layout Engineering Plans for the alternate parking area.
2. Design layout and grading of the proposed retaining wall on the west side of the parking.
The approximate construction cost for the Bid Alternate parking and wall is $80,000. Our fee to
develop this concept to a Bid Alternate as part of the construction documents will be an
additional $7,000 to our current contract.
Included with this letter is an Authorization for Contract Amendment. If this meets with your
approval, please indicate so by signing and returning one copy to our office as our notice to
proceed.

Compensation: 7,000.00(Lump Sum)
Notes: Services covered by this authorization shall be performed in accordance with the Dunaway "Standard
Terms&Conditions,"under the original Agreement dated May 2,2007.
PRIOR CONTRACT AMOUNT: $ 48,500.00(Lump Sum)
CONTRACT AMENDMENT AMOUNT: $ 7,000.00(Lump Sum)
