AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE BOUNDARY LIMITS'AND ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY LYING ADJACENT TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH; PROVIDING THAT THE ORDINANCE BE ADVERTISED IN A DAILY NEWSPAPER PUBLISHED IN SAID CITY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS CF SECTION 40, CHAPTER =II OF THE CITY CHARTER; AND PRESCRIBING AN EFFECTIPE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WMTV, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the hereinafter described territory lying adjacent to the City of Fort Worth is hereby annexed and brought within the corporate limits and made an integral part of said City of Fort Worth, said territory being situated in Tarrant County, Texas, and being described by metes and bounds as follows: Being an addition to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, platted as North Jarvis Heights Addition, — in the W. B. Tacker (South) Survey, and being more particu- larly described as follows: Beginning at the northeast corner of said W. B. Tucker (South) Survey in the south line of Terminal Road; Thence south 0 degrees 10 minutes west, along the east line of said W. B. Tacker (South) Survey, approximately 1,885 feet to a point 787 feet north of the south line of the J. Bursey Survey extended at a point on the existing city limit line; Thence west, along the existing city limit line, approxi- mately 1,650.61 feet to the east line of Decatur Avenue; Thence north 0 degrees 27 minutes east, along the present city limit line and along the east line of Decatur Avenue, approximately 640 feet to the point of the north line of 38th Street extended; Thence west along the present city limit line and along the extended north line of 38th Street, approximately 50 feet to the west line of Decatur Avenue; Thence north O degrees 27 minutes east, along the west line of Decatur Avenue, approximately 1,281 feet to a point on the north line of said W. B. Tucker (South) Survey, and said point being in the south line of Terminal Road.- Thence east along the south line of Terminal Road and along the north line of said W. B. Tucker (South) Survey, approximate- ly 1,691.05 feet to the place of beginning, said tract contain- ing approximately 72 acres. SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be published one time in the Fort Worth Star- Telegram, a daily newspaper published in the City of Fort Worth, in accordance with the provisions of Section 40, Chapter MIII of the City Charter. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall become effective and be in full force and ef- fect upon its final passage, which in no event shall be less than thirty (30) days from the date of its publication as aforesaid, and it is so ord- dained.
