ORDINANCE ACCEPTING IMPROVELiENTS ON A PORTION OF CURRIE
STREET AND DIRECTIN3 THE ISSUANCE AND DELIVERY OF CER-
TIFICATES IN EVIDENCE OF SPECIAL ASSESSIAENTS IaVIED.
rHEREAS; heretofore the City of Fort Worth entered into a
contract with General Construction Compmy for the making and con-
structing of certain street improvements on the following portion
of street in said City, to-wit:
CURRIE STREET, from the northerly line of Bledsoe
Street to the southerly line of West Seventh Street.
and,
WHEREAS, subsequent thereto by ordinance passed and approved
by the City Council assessments, payable to General Construction
Company, were levied against the abutting properties on said portion
of street and the owners thereof in payment of a part of the cost of
making and constructing such improvements; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has filed his report
with the City Council, to the effect that General Construction Com-
pany has completed) the work of making and constructing such improve-
ments on said portion of street in strict accordance with the con-
tract, plans and epecifications for such improvements, and based on
such report it is found that such improvements on said portion of
street have been inspected and found to be complete with accordance
with the contract therefor: and
WHEREAS, The Director of Public Works has found that certain
of such assessments are entitled to engineering credits and such
credits are shown on report of said Director of Public forks on file
in the office of the City Secretary: THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
WORTH,TEXAS, THAT:
I.
The improvements on said portion of said street, be and they
are hereby accepted, and the contract with reference to the con-
struction of such improvements found and declared to be completed
and performed by Gen-ral Construction Company.
II.
The Mayor be, and he is hereby, directed to issue and execute
in the rye of the City, certificates in evidence of the special
assessments levied ag"nst abutting properties and the owners there-
of for such improvements (such certificates as are entitled to credits
thereon as per report of the Director of Public "orks to show such
creaits thereon) and the City Secretary is directed to execute same
and impress the corporate seal thereon, all in accordance with the
^rooeedings relating to such improvements and assessments, and such
certificates when so executed shall be delivered by the City Secretary
to said General Construction Company.
III.
This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
after its passage.

AS TO FINAL COMPLETION OF IMPROMIENTS
ON CURRIE STREET IN THE CITY OF FORT
WORTH, TEXAS.
TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH;
GENTLEMEN:
I beg to report that the General Construction Com-
pany, to whom was awarded the Contract for the improvement 'of the
following portion of a street, to•wit:
CURBIE STREET, from the northerly line of Bledsoe
Street to the southerly line of West Seventh Street.
has completed the said improvements in strict accordance with the
terms of said Contract and Specifications of said work adopted by
the City.
I hereby recommend that the said improvements be final-
ly accepted by the City Council.
