SAID ALLEY AND CONVEYING THE FEE IN SAID LAND TO
THE ABUTTING PROPERTY OWNERS.
WHEREAS, it appearing to the City Council of the
City of Fort Worth, Texas, that the alley hereinafter describ-
ed, although a duly dedicated and accepted alley for use by
the public, has in fact never been used by the public and that
it is to th&•best interest of the public that said alley be
closed, abandoned and vacated as a public thoroughfare and the
fee to the land in said alley conveyed to the abutting property
owners.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDIINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH:
SECTION I.
That an alley ten feet in width extending eastward
from Henderson Street through the middle of Block 13, Texas &
Pacific Railway Company's Addition, to the City of Fort Worth,
Tarrant County; Texas, for a distance of 300 feet, be and the
same is hereby vacated, closed and permanently abandoned as an
alley or public thoroughfare of any kind or character whatever.
SECTION II.
. . That the rights of all public utilities heretofore
acquired by said utilities for the purpose of constructing
and maintaining service lines shall not be disturbed, destroyed,
revoked or abrogated by any of the provisions of this ordinance
but said rights as above set out shall remain in full force and
effect.
SECTION III.
That the fee to the land in said alley be hereby
released and conveyed in equal parts to the abutting property
owners on said alley.
SECTION IV.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION V.
That this ordinance shall talm effect and be in
full force and effect from and after the date of its pass-
age.
