AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING BUILDING LINES
ON PENN STREET FROM NORTH STREET TO WEATHERFORD
STREET, AND, PROHIBITING THE ERECTION, CONSTRUC-
TION, R$COXSTRUCTION OR PLACING OF ANY BUILDINGS
OR STRUCTMES HETrVEEN SAID BUILDING LINTS AND
PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF.
WHEREAS, it is considered by the City Council of
the City of Dort berth, that the safety, convenience and
general welfare of the public make it necessary that the
ofection, construction, reconstruction or placing of any build-
ing, obstruction or structure of any kind or character be
prohibited nearer to the property line on either side of Penn
Street from North street to Weatherford Street, than is here-
after set out.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FORT WORTHt
SECTION I.
It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, corpora-
tion or assodation of persons in the City of Fort Worth, Texas,
to build, construct, p]a ce, erect or reconstruct any building
or structure of any kind or nature whatsoever along Penn Street
from North Street to Weatherford Street, between the following
described building lines, to-wit:
J, A Imijting line easterly from the easterly
property line of Penn Street, more particularly
described as follows;
Ten (101) feet easterly from the easterly
property line of Penn Street from North Street to
a point ten (101) feet easterly from the easterly
property line of Penn Street and ninety-nine (991)
feet northerly from the northerly property line
of West Fifth Street; thence northerly and north-
easterly along a circular curve of one hundred fifty
(1501) feet radius to a point in the southerly prop-
erty line of Weatherford Street ninety-eight (98)
feet northeasterly from the interse 4ion of the
easterly property line of Penn Street and the
southerly property line oftn"eatherford Street;
and

2. a building line ten (101 ) feet westerly from
the westerly property line of Fenn Street from
North Street to a point two hundred fifty (2501)
feet northerly from the northerly property line
of West Fifth Street,
SECTION Ii.
That any person, firm, corporation or association
of persons who shall violate any of the provisions of this Or-
dinance shall be subject to a fine not #0 exceed One Hundred
($100.00) Dollars.
SECTION III.
That each and every day any such building, erection
or structure shall remain in violation of this Ordinance shall
be deemdd and constitute a separate and distinct offense.
SECTION IV.
The holding or adjudication of any section, portion,
clause ,or part hereof to be invalid shall not affect the validity
of any other section, portion, clause or part hereof, but all
suoh sections, portions, clauses and parts hereof shall be and
remain valid.
SECTION V.
This Ordinance shall become effective and shall be
in full force and effect from and after the date published as
required by law.
