HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 567 L^ 7 ORDINANCE N0. AN ORDINANCE CLOSING BROOK$*T, A PART OF EAST THIRD STREET, AND A PART OF EAST SECOND STRTMT IN THE` CITY OF FORT WORTH. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS FOR THE CITY OF FORT WORTH: Sec. 1. Whereas, it becomes necessary in order to provide for the proper maintenance of the streets adjacent to the streets, and parts of streets, hereinafter named, and at the same time pro- vide arrangment for the location of industrial enterprises of mater- ial benefit to the citizens of the City of Fort Worth; and whereas, the parts of the streets hereinaf#er named are now in a section where the same cannot be by the City properly maintained, and are inaccessible, and at this time, and heretofore at all times have been wholly unused, and have never been so used, now therefore; Sec. 2. The streets, portions of streete,and alleys here- D,"""� in described be, and the same are hereby, closednand abandoned as public streets and alleys. Brookshire Street, from the North line of East Second Street to the North line of an alley between Block five (5) of Cunningham & Woodall 's Addition and Block One (1) of' the Mason Addition; That part of East Third Street from the East line of Brookshire Street to the West line of Lot 9 of Block 4 and Lot 6, Block 5, Cunningham d Woodall's Addition, and That part of East Second Street, from the East line of Brookshire Street to the West line of Lot ZO hf Block 1, and Lot 5 of Block 4 of the Cunningham & Woodall's Addition to the City of Fort Worth. This ordinance shall be in force and effect from and after its passage. Approved as to Form; Corporation� t��—�-� l.
