REED PZ-601 tion (V-74-3) 1 of
WILKES Kimbell, Inc.., and E. W. Thorp, owners of all abutting property, have requested
that the City vacate an easement 30 feet ip *idth and 194 feet in length south
R081NSON from Pershing Avenue and continuing 30 feet in width and 320 feet in length east-
ward across Lot 1-R, Tract B, Westover Ridgy Addition, as recorded in Volume 388-
69, Page 35, Tarrant County Plat Records, and as shown on the attached map.
The subject easement, acquired by dedication, is located within a vacant tract on
which a supermarket is planned. The proposed building location conflicts with the
location of the subject easement. A new emergency access and utility easement is
to be dedicated along the south line of the subject tract. City departments and
private utility compdnies have reviewed this request and have no objections pro-
vided the easement is removed by a replat of the, property. Such a replat has been
received by the City staff. The City Plan Commission has reviewed this request
and recommends that an ordinance be adopted vacating subject easement as requested.
Recommendation
It is recommended that an ordinance be adopted vacating subject easement as recom-
mended by the City Plan Commission.
