AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING
THE 10' WIDE UTILITY EASEMENT IN LOT 1, BLOCK 2,
OAK GROVE INDUSTRIAL PARK, FIRST FILING TO THE
CITY OF FORT WORTH, BEGINNING IN THE SOUTH LINE
OF EVERMAN KENNEDALE ROAD (COUNTY ROAD 1051)
AND EXTENDING SOUTHWARD ALONG THE WEST LINE OF
LOT 1, BLOCK 2, OAK GROVE INDUSTRIAL PARK, FIRST
FILING A DISTANCE OF 289.9l' ; PROVIDING FOR THE
REVERSION OF THE FEE IN SAID LAND, SAVE AND
EXCEPT THAT EASEMENTS ARE RETAINED FOR ANY AND
ALL EXISTING UTILITIES; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND PROVIDING THAT THIS
ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That the 10' wide utility easement in Lot 1, Block 2,
Oak Grove industrial Park, First Filing to the City of Fort
Worth, beginning in the south line of Everman Kennedale Road
(County Road 1051) and extending Southward along the west line
of Lot 1, Block 2, Oak Grove Industrial Park, First Filing a
distance of 289.91' be and the same is hereby vacated, aban-
doned and permanently closed as an easement for public util-
ities.
SECTION 2.
That the fee to the land in the above described utility
easement is hereby released and will revert to the adjacent
owners as provided by law, SAVE AND EXCEPT that easements are
retained for any and all existing utilities.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force and effect from and after the date of its passage and
it is so ordained.

Gearhart-Owgns Employees Trust, owner of the subject and abutting properties,
with the signed consent of Electro Hydraulics, Incorporated, owner of all
other abutting properties, has requested that the City vacate the 10 foot
wide utility easement in Lot 1, Block 2, Oak Grove Industrial Park, First
Filing, beginning in the south line of Everman Kennedale Road (County Road
1051) and extending southward along the west line of Lot 1, Block 2, Oak
Grove Industrial Park, First Filing a distance of 289.91 feet as shown on the
attached map.
The subject easement, acquired by dedication, contains no utilities. Reviewing
City departments and private utility companies have no objection and recommend
that subject easement be vacated as requested. A satisfactory replat has
been submitted to the City staff.
Recommendation
It is recommended that an ordinance vacating the subject easement be adopted
as requested.
