AN ORDINANCE DISCONTINUING TERRITORY FROM WITHIN THE
CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY WYORT WORTH; PRESCRIBING
A SAVINGS CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH:
Section 1.
That the following described territory within the corporate limits of the City
of Fort Worth is hereby discontinued as a part of the City of Fort Worth and said
tract of land is described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEING a tract of land lying approximately 12 miles northwest from the
Court House of Tarrant County, Texas, lying in and including all or part
of the J. Wilcox No. 38, T. Smallwood, D. Perry, S. Best, L. Billington,
W. E. Boswell, E. T. Rice, E. W. Billingston, S. T. Hovens, Thomas Hicks,
A. L. Hill, M. Hunt, J. Wilcox No. 39, J. Wilcox No. 40, J. Wilcox No. 43,
J. A. McCarty, 0. K. Davis, S. A. & M. G. R.R. and D. P. Newsom Surveys,
and being more fully described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point 50 feet north from the north line of the M. Hunt
Survey, and 350 feet west from the center line State Highway No. 199
(Jacksboro Highway);
THENCE west along a line parallel to and 50 feet north from the north
line of the M. Hunt Survey and parallel to and 50 feet north from the north
line of the M. Hunt Survey produced west to its intersection with a line
parallel to and 50 feet west from the west line of the M. Hunt Survey pro-
duced north;
THENCE south along a line parallel to and 50 feet west from the west
line of the M. Hunt Survey produced north, and parallel to and 50 feet west
from the west line of the M. Hunt Survey, to a point 50 feet north from the
north right-of-way line of State Farm to Market Road No. 1886;
THENCE west along a line parallel to and 50 feet north from the north
right-of-way line of State Farm to Market Road No. 1886, to a point 50 feet
west from the west line of the A. Van Norstrard Survey produced north;
THENCE south along a line parallel to and 50 feet west from the west
line of the A. Van Norstrand Survey produced north, and 50 feet west from
the west line of the A. Van NorstrandSurvey to a 'point 50 'feet south from
the north line of J. Wilcox Survey No. 3;
THENCE east along a line parallel to and 50 feet south from the north
line of the J. Wilcox Survey No. 3, to its intersection -with the east,ri.ght-
of-way line of County Road 4031; 1
THENCE saitherly along the east right-of-way line of County Road No.
4031, to its intersection with the City Limit Line of the City of Fort Worth,
as said line is described in the corporate boundary description of the City
of Fort Worth in Port Worth City Code of 1950;
THENCE southerly, with its meanders, along the City Limit Line of the
City of Fort Worth, as said line is described in the corporate boundary des-
cription of the City of Fort Worth in the Fort Worth City Code of 1950, to
its intersection with the south right-of-way line of County Road No. 1007;
THENCE westerly along the southerly right-of-way line of County Road
No. 1007, with its meanders, to its intersection with the east line of the
N. S. Lamy Survey;
THENCE south along the east line of the N. S. Lane( Survey to its
southeast corner;
THENCE west along the south line of the N. S. Lane Survey and the
south line of the N. S. Lan Survey produced west to its intersection
with the west line of Tarrant County;

Section 2.
That this ordinance shall and does hereby amend every prior ordinance in conflict
here,rith, end more partic�.ilerly this ordinance expressly amends Ordinance X`os. 11M F-_
3826, heretofore adopted ant oasseO on July 15, 1963, but as to all other ordinances
or sections of ordinances not in direct conflict here•�ith this ordinance shall be

If any section, subsection or provision of this ordinance shall oe helc'._ invalid
or unconstitutional by a c,irt of competent jurisdiction, the portion so helc' to be
invalid or unconstitutional shall not affect am other part of the ordinance, which
shall remain in full force and ef*'ect.
Section h.
This ordinance, after it has been duly passed, shall be entered as an order on
the minutes and permanent records of the City of ':tort .:orth, from an6 after the date
of its entry, the territory hereinbefore described shall cease to be a part of the
ity of Fort •orth.
Section 5.
That this Ordinance shall become effective ant shall be in "ill force and effect
from and after its passa_e, and it is so ordained.
