AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT THE ALLEY IN BLACK 4, FAC-
TORY PLACE ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TARRANT
COUNTY, TEXAS, BETWEEN GRANBURY ROAD AND RUTIEDGE STREET,
FROM HOOPER STREET TO BRIDGE STREET, BE ABANDONED, VACATED
AND CLOSED; AND PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF THE FEE TO
SAID LAND.
WHEREAS, it appearing to the City Council of the City of Fort
Worth that the alley in Block 4, Factory Place Addition, has never been
.open for public use and that it is to the best interest of the public that
said alley be closed, abandoned and vacated as a public thoroughfare and
the fee to the land in said alley revert as provided by law; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT FORTH,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That the alley in Block 4, Factory Place Addition to the City of
Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, between Granbury Road and Rutledge
Street, from Hooper Street to Bridge Street, be and the same is hereby
vacated, closed and permanently abandoned as an alley or public thorough-
fare of any kind or character whatever.
SECTION 2.
That the fee to the land in said alley above described is hereby
released and will revert to the owners as provided by law, save and except
that an easement is reserved for all existing utilities.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and ef-
fect from and after the date of its passage.
