AN ORDINANCE REFERRING BIDS FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF A
PORTION OF JARVIS STREET
IN THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS, TO THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPART-
MENT FOR A REPORT THEREON
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That Bids for the construction of improvements on Jarvis Street, from
the easterly line of Hemphill Street to the westerly line of Jennings Avenue,
in the City of Fort Worth, Texas, having on the 18th day of February, 1954,
been opened and read and the following persons had filed bids for the perfor-
mance of such work or part thereof, to-wit:
1. Ernest Loyd, Fort Worth, Texas
2. Texas Bitulithic Company, Fort Worth, Texas
3. General Construction Company, Fort Worth, Texas
4. Worth Construction Company, Fort Worth, Texas
that such Bids be and the same are hereby referred to the Public Works Depart-
ment, which is directed to cause to be promptly filed with the City Council, a
report and recommendation thereon.
SECTION 2.
That this Ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage.
