ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE DISCONTINUING TERRITORY FROM
WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF
FORT WORTH; PRESCRIBING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH:
Section 1.
That the following described teritory within the corporate limits of the
City of Fort Worth is hereby discontinued as a part of the City of Fort Worth
and said tract of land is described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEING a tract of land about 12 miles northwest from the Courthouse
of Tarrant County, Texas, and lying in and including all or part of
the J. Wilcox No. 43, J. Wilcox No. 42, and J. Wilcox No. 39 Surveys
and being more fully described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point 50 ft. so. from the present city limit line of the City
of Fort Worth in the south right-of-way line of Scotland Avenue, 350
feet northeast from the centerline of State Highway No. 199;
THENCE east along a line parallel to and 50 feet south from the
south right-of-way line of Scotland Avenue, the present city limit
line of the City of Azle, and along said line produced east to a point
50 feet east from the west line of the J. Wilcox Survey No. 42;
THENCE north along a line parallel to and 50 feet east from the
west line of the J. Wilcox Survey No. 42, the present city limit
line of the City of Azle, to a point 50 feet south from the south
right-of-way line of County Road No. 4032;
THENCE east along a line parallel to and 50 feet south from the
south right-of-way line of County Road No. 4032, with its meanders,
to its intersection with the city limit line of the City of Fort Worth
as said line is described in the corporate boundary description of
the City of Fort Worth in the Fort Worth City Code of 1950;
THENCE southerly along the city limit line of the City of Fort
Worth with its meanders, as said line is described in the corporate
boundary description of the City of Fort Worth in the Fort Worth
City Code of 1950, to a point in the west line of the J. Wilcox Survey
No. 36, 350 feet east from the centerline of State Highway No. 199;
THENCE northwesterly along a line parallel to and 350 feet
northeasterly from the centerline of State Highway No. 199, to the
place of beginning and containing approximately .86 square miles.
Section 2.
That this ordinance shall and does hereby amend every prior ordinance in
conflict herewith, and more particularly this ordinance expressly amends Ordi-
nance No. 4734 and 3826, heretofore adopted and passed on July 15, 1963, but
as to all other ordinances or sections of ordinances not in direct conflict
herewith this ordinance shall be and is hereby, made cumulative.
Section 3.

Section
That this Ordinance small beco-a effective and Mail be in ' 11 force and
Wect froze and after its passage and it is so ordained.
