FURTH, ORD AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT A PORTION OF THE ALLEY ARY IN BLOCK 4, CLAY WITHERS ADDITION TO THE CITY OF TEL FORT WORTH, TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS, BE ABANDONED, VACATED AND CLOSED; AND PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF THE FEE TO SAID LAND. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That that portion of the alley in Block 4, Clay Withers Ad- dition to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, from the north line of Lot 5, Block 4, to the present south line of East Rosedale Street, said line being ten feet north of the north line of Lot 2, Block 4, be and the same is hereby vacated, closed and permanently abandoned as an alley or public thorough- fare of any kind or character whatever. SECTION 2. That the fee to the land in said alley above described is hereby released and will revert to the owner as provided by law, save and except that easements are retained for any or all exist- ing utilities. SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict here- with are hereby repealed. SECTION 4. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage. WORTH, Till.- Honorable Mayor and Re: Requested Alley Closing, Members of the City Council Block 4 Clay Withers City of Fort Worth Addition Mrs. McKnight and Gentlemen% A request has,been received from the owner of the adjacent property for closing of a portion of the 10 foot alley in Block 49 Clay Withers Ad- dition as shown on the attached plat, to allow the reconstruction of com- mercial development. The Public Works and City Planning Departments have investigated this request, have contacted all interested parties, and have found no objections to the closing. This alley has not been used by the general public or for utility services. It is recomended that an ordinance be adopted closing a portion of the 10 foot alley in Block 4, Clay Withers Addition.
