AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT THAT PORTION OF THE
ALLEY RMOTING THROUGH BLOCK A., OCIE SPEER ADDI-
TION TO M CITY OF FORT WORTH, TARRANT COUNTY,
TEXAS, FROM THE SOUTH LIM OF SAID BLOCK A TO A
POINT THREE HUNDRED (300) FEET NORTH, BE VACATED,
ABANDONED AND CLOSED, AND EXCEPTING THE RIGHTS OF
ALL PUBLIC UTILITIES HERETOFORE ACQUIRED IN SAID
PORTION OF SAID ALLEY, AND PROVIDING FOR THE REVER-
SION OF THE FEE IN SAID LAND, AND REPEALING ALL
ORDINAPDES IN CONFLICT HEMVITH, AND PROVIDING THAT
THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BECO19 EFFECTIVE SIEMIA ELY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS:
SECTION I.
That in order to promote and protect the public safety, and
particularly the safety of public school pupils and teachers attending
the school or schools to be established by the Fort Worth Independent
School District on a school site which it has acquired in Ocie Speer
Addition to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, that portion
of the alley running through Block A, in said Ocie Speer Addition from
the south line of said Block A to a point three hundred (300) feet north,
shall be and is hereby vacated, abandoned and closed+
SECTION II.
That the rights of all public utilities for the purpose of con-
structing and maintaining service lines shall not be disturbed, destroyed,
revoked, or abrogated by any of the provisions of this ordinance, but said
rights as above set out shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION III.
That the fee to the land in said alley shall revert as provided
by law.
SECTION IV.
All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed.
SECTION V.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and
effect from and after the date of its passage.
