HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 262 V01- Ordinance No 262• An ordinance repealing sections 473 and 474 of the revised ordinances of the City of Fort Worth, as codified by W. D. Williams and T. J. Powell in the year 1906. Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Fort Worth: Section 1 That sections 473of the revised ordinances of the City of Fort Worth, which reads as follows: "It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to give have or exhibit any variety show, theater, concert or show of any kind on Sunday within the corporate limits of the city;" and section 474, providing in substance that any person violating the provisions of sections 473 shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined any sum not less than $50 or more than $100, be and the same are hereby repealed, rendered null and void and held to be of no force and effect. Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage. I hereby certify that the above and fore going ordinance was duly presented and passed and adopted by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Fort Worth at a session of said Board held Saturday Oc obe 28th,1911.
