AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT HAGLER STREET IN THE 2500 BLOCK FROM THAT PORTION OF SAID STREET PREVIOUSLY CLOSED BY ORDINANCE NO. 3331 EAST WARD TO THE WEST RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF McCART STREET ADJACENT TO LOT 9, BLOCK 15, FRISCO HEIGHTS ADDITION, AND LOT 2, BLOCK 3, PROSPECT HEIGHTS, BE VACATED, ABANDONED AND CLOSED; PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF THE INTEREST OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVID- ING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That Hagler Street in the 2500 block from that portion of Hagler Street previously closed by Ordinance No. 3331 east- ward to the west right-of-way line of McCart Street adjacent to Lot 9, Block 15, Frisco Heights Addition, and Lot 2, Block 3, Prospect Heights Addition, be and the same is hereby closed, abandoned and permanently vacated as a street or public thorough- fare of any kind or character whatever, save and except that easements are reserved for any existing utilities. SECTION 2. That the interest of the City of Fort Worth in the fee to the land in said street is hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owner of the fee as provided by law. SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 4. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage. Glover has requested that the City vacate Hagler Street in the ffl*"ON ILAR2500 block a width of 22 feet and a length of 37 feet from that portion of Hagler Street previously closed by Ordinance No. 3331 eastward to the west right-of-way line of McCart Street adjacent to Lot 9, Block 15, Frisco Heights and Lot 2, Block 3, Prospect Heights as shown on the attached map. Subject right-of-way, acquired by dedication, is unimproved. There is an existing sanitary sewer located within subject right-of-way, for which an easement 15 feet in width must be provided. The reviewing City departments and utility companies have offered no objec- tion to this request provided that the property is replatted. The City has received a satisfactory replat of the property. The City Plan Commission has reviewed this request and recommends adoption of an ordinance vacating the public right-of-way as requested. Recommendation It is recommended that an ordinance be adopted vacating the subject right-of- way as recommended by the City Plan Commission.
