ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3011, BEING AN ORDINANCE TO REGULATE AND TO RESTRICT THE
LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES, AND LAND FOR TRADE, INDUSTRY, RESIDENCES, OR OTHER
PURPOSES; THE HEIGHT, NUMBER OF STORIES AND SIZE OF BUILDING; AND OTHER STRUCTURES: THE SIZE
OF YARDS AND OTHER OPEN SPACES; OFF-STREET PARKING AND LOADING AND THE DENSITY OF POPULATION;
AND FOR SAID PURPOSES TO DIVIDE THE MUNICIPALITY INTO DISTRICTS OF SUCH NUMBER, SHAPE AND AREA
AS MAY BE DEEMED BEST BY FIXING DEFINITE USES OF THE BUILDINGS HEREINAFTER ERECTED IN SAID
DESCRIBED AREAS FROM THE USES AS SHOWN ON THE MAPS CONTAINED IN SAID ORDINANCE NO. 3011; PRE-
SCRIBING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; PROVIDING A FINE OF NOT LESS THAN $5.00 NOR MORE THAN $200.00 FOR
EACH OFFENSE, AND THAT EACH DAY THAT A VIOLATION IS PERMITTED TO EXIST SHALL CONSTITUTE A
SEPARATE OFFENSE; AND NAMING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That Ordinance No. 3011 be amended so that the following described uses in the hereinafter
described area be altered, changed and amended as follows to wit:
Z-72-3 BEING a part of the George Shields Survey, Abstract 1436, and the J. Howard
Survey, Abstract 693, both in Tarrant County, Texas, and being more particularly
described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the South line of the present "F" Commercial zoning at
its intersection with the East right-of-way line of Hulen Street;
THENCE with said Zoning line South 60032' East 430-8/10 feet to a point;
THENCE departing the present "F" Commercial zoning line, South 30051 ' West
600 ft. to the proposed North right-of-way line of Barwick Drive;
THENCE Northwesterly with said proposed right-of-way line, crossing the line
common to the J: Howard and George Shields Surveys, in all approximately 450 ft.
to a point in the curved East right-of-way line of Hulen Street;
THENCE Northeasterly with the East right-of-way line of Hulen Street and with
the arc of a curve to the left having a radius of 3439-58/100 feet; re-crossing
the line common to the Shields and Howard Surveys, in all a distance of 320-8/10
feet to the end of the curve, AND North 30035' East 154-18/100 feet to the place
of beginning, containing in all 5-2/10 acres of land, more or less.

Z-72-34 Beginning at a point for corner, said point being the intersection of the center-
line of Blue Mound Road (F.M.Road No. 156) and the south line of the mutual com-
mon City Limits line of the City of Fort Worth and the City of Saginaw;
Thence west along and writh said south line of the Fort Worth and Denver Railroad
right-of-way, said line being the mutual common boundary line of the City of
Fort Worth and the City of Saginaw, a distance of approximately 1,147 feet to a
point for corner, said point being the intersection of said common City Limits
line and the west line of Tract 4-B, W. B. Tucker Survey, Abstract No. 1515, as
shown on City of Fort Worth Tax Map No. 24-A on May 12, 1971;
Thence South along and with the west line of said Tract 4-B, a distance of approx-
imately 2,320 feet to a point for corner, said point being the intersection with
Terminal Road (F.M.Road No. 156);
Thence east along and with the centerline of said Terminal Road, a distance of
approximately 1,417 feet to a point for corner, said point being the intersection
of said Terminal Road and said Blue Mound Road;
Thence north along the centerline of said Blue Mound Road, a distance of approx-
imately 2,320 feet to the Place of Beginning and containing approximately 75 acres.

Page 89, Plat Records Tarrant County, Texas, said point also being 3047.7 feet
West and 1715.0 feet South of the Northeast corner of said Norris Survey;

SECTION 2.
The zoning regulations and districts, as herein established, have been made in accordance with
the comprehensive plan for the purpose of promoting health, safety, morals and the general
Welfare of the community. They have been designed to lessen congestion in the streets; to
secure safety from fire, panic, flood and other dangers; to provide adequate light and air;
to prevent overcrowding of land; to avoid undue concentration of population; to facilitate
the adequate provisions of transportation, water, sewerage, parks and other public require-
ments. They have been made after a full and complete public hearing with reasonable considera-
tion among other things, of the character of the district and its peculiar suitability for
the particular uses and with a view of conserving the value of buildings and encouraging the
most appropriate use of land throughout the community.
SECTION 3.
This ordinance shall be cumulative of all other ordinances of the City of Fort Worth affecting
zoning and shall not repeal any of the provisions of said ordinances except in those instances
where provisions of those ordinances are in direct conflict with the provisions of this
ordinance.
SECTION 4.
Should any section, clause or provision of this ordinance be declared by the court to be in-
valid, the same shall. not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole or any part thereof,
other than the part so declared to be invalid.
SECTION 5.
Any person, firm or corporation who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply
with or who resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be fined
not less than Five and No/100 Dollars ($5.00) nor more than Two Hundred and No/100 Dollars
($200.00) for each offense. Each day that a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute
a separate offense.
SECTION 6.
This ordinance will take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and publication as required by law.
