ORDINANCE NO. LI
AN ORDINANCE DISCONTINUING TERRITORY
FROM WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF
THE CITY CF FORT WORTH; PRESCRIBING
A SAVINGS CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH:
Section 1.
That the following described territory within the corporate limits of the
City of Fort Worth is hereby discontinued as a part of the City of Fort Worth
and said tract of land is described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEING a tract of land about 10 miles northwest from the Courthouse
of Tarrant County, Texas and lying in and including all or part of the
J. Wilecoc No. 3, J. Wilcox No. 4, and M. De La Garza Surveys, and being
more fully described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point 50 feet south from the south line of the
A. Von Norstrand Survey; in the easterly right-cf-way line of County
Road No. 031.
THENCE east along a line parallel to and 50 feet south from south
lines of the A. Von Norstrand and C. Johnson Surveys, to a point 50 feet
west from the east line of the J. Wilcox Survey No 3;
THENCE south along a line parallel to and 50 feet west from the east
line of the J. Wilcox Survey, No. 3, and along said line produced south,
to its intersection with a line parallel to and 50 feet south from the
north line of the M. De La Garza Survey produced west;
THENCE east along a line parallel to and 50 feet south from the
north line of the M. De La Garza Survey produced west and, the north line
of the M. De La Garza Survey, to its intersection with the City limit
line of the City of Fort Worth, as said line is described in the cor-
porate boundary description of the City of Fort Worth, in the Fort
Worth City Code of 1950;
THENCE southerly along the city limit line of the City of Fort Worth
as said line is described in the corporate boundary description of the
City of Fort Worth, in the Fort Worth City Code of 1950, to its inter-
section with the north right-of-way line of County Road No. 4031;
THENCE westerly and northerly along the northerly and easterly right-
of-way line of County Road No. 4031, to the place of beginning and con-
taining approximately ..7 square miles.
Section 2.
That this ordinance shall and does hereby amend ever,. prior ordinance in
conflict herewith, and more particularly this ordinance expressly amends Ordinance
No. 3757, heretofore adopted and passed on July 15, 1963, but as to all other
ordinances or sections of ordinances not in direct conflict herewith this ordinance
shall be and is hereby, made cumulative.

Section 3.
If any s ction, subsection or provision of this ordinance shall be held
invalid or unconstitutional by a court of colroetent jurisdiction, the Dorton

the ordinance, which shall remain in f»11 force and e,fe::t.

This ordinance, a*ter it has oe en duly oassed, sr:all ';e entered as an
order on the minutes and per77a nent records of the City of rort -;orth, fro!,-, and
after the date of its entry, the V4rritory her Anbefore described shall cease
to be a rrt of the City of Fort •orth.
Section 5
That this Ordinance shall beco-e effective and shall be in '.all force and
e.f;ect from and after its passage and it is so ordained.
