ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE BOUNDARY LDUTS AND ANNEXING
CERTAIN TERRITORY LYING ADJACENT TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH;
PROVIDING THAT THE ORDINANCE BE ADVERTISED IN A DAILY NEWS-
PAPER PUBLISHED IN SAID CITY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PRO-
VISIONS OF SECTION 4o, CHAPTER X MII OF THE CITY CHARTER;
AND PRESCRIBING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That the hereinafter described territory lying adjacent to the City
of Fort Worth is hereby annexed and brought within the corporate limits and
made an integral part of said City of Fort Worth, said territory being
situated in Tarrant County, Texas, and being described by metes and bounds
as follows:
Beginning at a point in the present City of Fort Worth
city limit line, said point being 80 feet east of the northeast
corner of Lot 3, Block 9, Meadowbrook Hills, an addition to
Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, said point being also in the
east line of Oak Hill Road;
Thence north 0 degrees 40 minutes east 1529 feet along said
proposed east line of said Oak Hill Road to a point which stands
approximately 200 feet south of White Lake Road;
Thence south 75 degrees 38 minutes east 552 feet parallel to
and approximately 200 feet southerly from the said White Lake
Road;
Thence north 83 degrees 26 minutes east 602 feet parallel to
and approximately 200 feet southerly from said road to a point
in the west property line of the Texas Electric Service Company
200 foot right of way;
Thence south 0 degrees 20 minutes east 759.2 feet along said
right of way to a concrete monument;
Thence south 13 degrees 22 minutes west 1068.5 feet along said
right of way to an iron pin;
Thence south 89 degrees 58 minutes east at 205.6 feet cross-
ing the east gaght, of way line of the Texas Electric Service Com-
pany, in all 675.6 feet;
Thencv south 185 feet to a point in the south line of the D. M.
Helms Surveys
Thence north 89 degrees 58 minutes west at 514 feet a concrete
monument on the east line of said right of way at 719.6 feet a
concrete monument on the west line of said right of way and con-
tinuing along the south line of said Helms Survey a total distance
of 1583.6 feet to the east line of Oak Hill Road;
Thence north 522.75 feet to the point of beginning, and con-
taining 51.625 acres.
SECTION 2.
That this ordinance shall be published one time in the Fort Worth Star-
Telegram, a daily newspaper published in the City of Fort Worth, in accordance
with the provisions of Section 40, Chapter XXVIII of the City Charter.

That this ordinance shall became effective and be in frill force and
effect upon its final passage, which in no event shall be less than thirty
(30) days from the date of its publication as aforesaid, and it is so or-
dained.
