W. 20th Street (V-68-44) 1 of 1 gua f,,, / PZ-318 GRAMAM Mr. Ira E. Baker, owner of Lot 1, Block 138, North Fort Worth Addition, has REED requested the City to vacate a portion of the right-of-way in the 1000 block of Northwest 20th Street, abutting his property. The area requested to be vacated is the north 12.7 feet of the right-of-way of N. W. Twentieth Street which abuts Lot 1, Block 138 of North Fort Worth Addition to the City of Fort Worth, Texas. This vacation will leave 67.3 feet of right-of-way in the subject block and will line up with the street to the west. The subject right-of-way was acquired by dedication and City departments have determined that it is not necessary for future development of this street. City departments and private utility companies have reviewed this request and have voiced no objection to this vacation, provided the applicant plats the vacated right-of-way with his adjoining property and retains the vacated right-of-way as an easement for existing utilities. The City Plan Commission has reviewed this request and recommends adoption of an ordinance vacating the public right-of-way as requested, subject to the conditions recommended above by the City departments and private utility companies. The applicant has submitted a replat which incorporates the conditions requested by the City Plan Commission. Recommendation It is recommended that an ordinance be adopted vacating subject right.-of-way as recommended by the City Plan Commission.
