AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE BOUNDARY LIMITS AND ANNEXING
CERTAIN TERRITORY LYING ADJACENT TO THE CITY OF FORT
WORTH; PROVIDING THAT THE ORDINANCE BE ADVERTISED IN A
DAILY NEWSPAPER PUBLISHED IN SAID CITY IN ACCORDANCE
WITH THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 40, CHAPTER XXVIII OF
THE CITY CHARTER; AND PRESCRIBING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That the hereinafter described territory lying adjacent to the City
of Fort Worth is hereby annexed and brought within the corporate limits
and made an integral part of said City of Fort Worth, said territory be-
ing situated in Tarrant County, Texas, and being described by metes and
bounds as follows:
Situated in Tarrant County, Texas, and being a part of
the S. Gilmore Survey more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the north line of Texas Electric
Service Company property 25 feet north of the northeast corner
of Lot "G° in Block 12 of Karrents Diamond Hills Addition to
the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, as shown by
Revised Plat of Block 12, recorded in Vol. 388-F, page 111,
Deed Records of Tarrant County, Texas;
Thence north 89 degrees 53 minutes east 1148.4 feet along
the north line of Texas Electric service Company property to
the point of northeast corner of this tract;
Thence south 160 feet along the east line of Texas Electric
Service Company property to a point in the west line of right
of way of the Texas Highway Department;
Thence south 33 degrees 51 minutes 50 seconds west 205 feet
along said right of way to the point of curvature of a curve
having a radius of 4725.75 feet;
Thence along said curve having a central angle of 23 de-
grees 24 minutes, 1 degree 12 minutes 45 seconds degree of
curve, a distance of 1930 feet to a point for the southeast
corner of this tract;
Thence west 303 feet to a point for the southwest corner of
this tract;
Thence north 2150.2 feet along the west line of Texas Eleo-
tric Service Company property to the place of beginning.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall be published one time in the Fort Worth Star-
Telegram, a daily newspaper published in the City of Fort Worth, in ac-
cordance with the provisions of Section 40, Chapter XXVIII of the City
Charter.
SECTION 3.
This ordinance shall become effective and be in full force and effect
upon its final passage, which in no event shall be less than thirty (30)
days from the date of its publication as aforesaid, and it is so ordained.
