1;n Urdinance providing for the annexation to the City of
r'ort Worth of certain territory in Tarrant County, Texas,
adjoiriinE; and contiguous to said City of Fort 'North and being
42 acres more or less of the K. iyi. VanZ,.ndt Land company' s tract
in the j. :i.. C. Lynch durvey and being an addition to Trinity
Park, described by metes and bounds in the body of this
Ordinance.

O'ection 1. Trrat it being made to appear to the Board of
Uomiaission ers of the City of Fort Worth that the property
hereinafter described by metes and 'bounds is the property of th(
said City of Fort Worth, heretofore acquired and being used
for Park purposes, and that none of said, territory is owned by
any other person whatsoever, and that it is expedient that said
territory adjoining and contiguous to the present territorel limits
of the City of Fort Worth, be annexed unto said Uity of Fort
'North, Said territory being a part of the K. i'i. Van Zandt Land
Company' s tract in the C. Lynch Survey in Tarrant Uounty,
Texas, and being described by metes and bounds as follows:
Leginning at a stake which is 25 feet iu. Ojb3' W. from the
corner of the tract conveyed by ,Yin. Capps et al to the
City of Fort Worth by deed recorded in Vol. aU, page 375, Tarrant
County, Deed Records: Thence rlest 320-4/10 feet to a stake which i
is 1193-2/10 feet Nast and lUO feet South from the Southeast
corner of ,lock 9 of Van Za.ndt' s 2nd. Addition, and the above
line is the South line of the Arlington 'ieiGhts Boulevard, and
lies 100 feet '6outh of and parallel with tsie north line of the
said Lynch Survey: Thence South 16 W. 375 1/2 feet to a stake.
Thence South 20-1/2 W. 314 feet to a stake; Thence south 28 W.
268-4/10 feet to a stake. Thence South 32 degrees 54 mir:utes W.
531 feet to a stake. Thence West 333 feet to a stake in E,,st
line of the right of way of the R.P.T. & S.R.R. Co., 50 feet
from track center; Thence alon6 said right of gray line parallel
with and 5U feet from said track center S. 13-3/4
26U-1/2 feet and S. 3-1/2 `A. 277 feet and S. 11-1/4 E. 382 feet
;:nd S. 24-1/2 E. 243-1/2 feet to the base of the frill of the
new levee to be constructed, as tame is now staked upon the
ground: Thence along said levee base as staked 14. 87 degrees 28
minutes E. 465 feet and i�. 49 degrees and 56 minutes E. 529 feet
and N. 12-3/4 E. 88 feet and 1'J. 60 38' W. 402 feet and 1!. -23° 55'
E. 314 feet and '-v. 640 37' E. 231 feet to the West line of the
said tract conveyed by Wm. Capps et al to the City of Fort Worth:
Thence id. 53' `W. along said line passing its N. W. corner and
in all 1243 feet to place of beginning, containing 42 acres, more
or less.
That the acove and foregoing territory as herein before
described be and the same is herey annexed to and made apart
of the corl=ation of the City of Fort Worth, and the corporate
limits of said City of Fort Worth, as tl^.ey now exist, be and the
st are hereby extended so as to embrace and include said
territory as an intregal part of said City of Fort Worth, and
the iinhabLtants of said territory residinC ,and having their
do::fi8ile therein shall 'hereafter be entitled to and enjoy all
the legal rights and privileges of the citizens of said City of
Fort Worth, and be bound by and required to .respect all the
legal acts, ordinances, rules and regulat ion,°governing other
citizens of said City, and the;; s_iall oe required to bear and
discharge the satne responsibilities as other citizens of said
City.
Vection 2. This ordinance shall take effect and ;;e in
force from and after its passage as required by law.

flict herewith are hereby repealed.
