AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE
N0, 3011, AS AMENDED, SAME BEING AN ORDINANCE REGULATING
AND RESTRICTING THE LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS, STRUC-
TURES AND LAND FOR TRADE, INDUSTRY, RESIDENCE, AND OTHER
PURPOSES; BY AMENDING SECTION 1, DEFINITIONS THEREOF, SEC-
TION 9, "E" COMMERCIAL DISTRICT; SECTION 9A,"F-R" RESTRICTED
COMMERCIAL DISTRICT; SECTION 10, "F" COMMERCIAL DISTRICT;
SECTION 12, "H" BUSINESS DISTRICT; SECTION 19, "OFF STREET
PARKING AND LOADING REGULATIONS", PROVIDING THAT THIS
ORDINANCE SHALL BE CUMULATIVE OF ALL ORDINANCES AFFECTING
ZONING; PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; PROVIDING A SEVER-
ABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING A PENALTY; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That SECTION 1, DEFINITIONS, of the Comprehensive Zoning
Ordinance Number 3011, as amended, be and the same is hereby
amended by deleting Item 52, "Trailer Camp, or Court", in its
entirety and renumbering in proper sequence all items follow-
ing said Item 52; and by adding to Section 1 the following
definitions:
42-B. RECREATIONAL VEHICLE: A vehicular, portable
structure built on a chassis, designed to be
used as a temporary dwelling, self-propelled
or to be towed behind a motor vehicle, with-
out special permit.
42-C. RECREATIONAL VEHICLE PARK: A unified develop-
ment under one ownership designed primarily
for transient service, on which recreational
vehicles, pickup coaches, self-propelled
motorized vehicles, tent trailers, or travel
trailers are parked or situated and used for
the purpose of supplying to the public a
parking space for such vehicles, meeting
all of the requirements of this Ordinance.
SECTION 2.
That SECTION 9, "E" COMMERCIAL DISTRICT, of the Compre-
hensive Zoning Ordinance No. 3011, as amended, be and the same
is hereby amended by adding thereto subparagraph 37-B, so that
same shall be and read as follows: "Recreational vehicle parks
provided they are constructed and developed in conformance with
Ordinance No. 6372. "
SECTION 3.
That SECTION 9A, "F-R" RESTRICTED COMMERCIAL DISTRICT,
of the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance No. 3011, as amended, be
and the same is hereby amended by deleting therefrom subpara-
graph 16, "Trailer Parks" in its entirety, and renumbering in
proper sequence all subparagraphs following said subparagraph
16.
SECTION 4.
That SECTION 10, "F" COMMERCIAL DISTRICT, of the Compre-
hensive Zoning Ordinance, No. 3011, as amended, be and the
same is hereby amended by deleting therefrom subparagraph 5,
"Trailer Park" in its entirety, and renumbering in proper
sequence all subparagraphs following said subparagraph 5.
SECTION 5.
That SECTION 12, "H" BUSINESS DISTRICT, SUBPARAGRAPH 1,
of the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance, No. 3011, as amended,
be and the same is hereby amended so that the same shall be
and read as follows:

"l. Any uses permitted in the 'G' Commercial
District, except that Recreational vehicle
Parks are excluded. "
SECTION 6.
That SECTION 19, OFF STREET PARKING AND LOADING REGULA-
TIONS, of the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance Number 3011, as
amended, be and the same is hereby amended by deleting in
their entirety subparagraphs B. 23 "Dependent Mobile Homes"
and B. 24 "Recreation Trailers".
SECTION 7.
That the zoning regulations and districts, as herein
established, have been made in accordance with the compre-
hensive plan for the purpose of promoting health, safety,
morals and the general welfare of the community. They have
been designed to lessen congestion in the streets; to secure
safety from fire, panic, flood and other dangers; to provide
adequate light and air; to prevent over-crowding of land, to
avoid undue concentration of population; to facilitate the
adequate provisions of transportation, water, sewerage, parks
and other public requirements. They have been made after a
full and complete public hearing with reasonable consideration,
among other things, of the character of the district and its
peculiar suitability for the particular uses and with a view
of conserving the value of buildings and encouraging the most
appropriate use of land throughout the community.
SECTION B.
That this ordinance shall repeal every prior ordinance
and provision of the Fort Worth City Code in conflict here-
with but only insofar as the portion of such prior ordinance

or provision shall be in conflict, and as to all other ordi-
nances or provisions of the Fort Worth City Code not in direct
conflict herewith, this ordinance shall be and is hereby made
cumulative.
SECTION 9.
That all rights or remedies of the City of Fort Worth,
Texas, are expressly saved as to any and all violations of
Ordinance No. 3011, or of any amendments thereto, of said
City of Fort Worth, Texas, that have accrued at the time of
the effective date of this ordinance; and as to such accrued
violations, the court shall have all the powers that existed
prior to the effective date of this ordinance, and that all
existing violations of Ordinance No. 3011, as amended, which
would otherwise become nonconforming uses under this ordinance,
shall not become legal nonconforming uses under this ordinance
but shall be considered as violations of this ordinance in
the same manner that they were violations of Ordinance No. 3011,
as amended, of said city.
SECTION 10.
That it is hereby declared to be the intention of the City
Council that the sections, paragraphs, sentences, clauses and phrases
of this ordinance are severable, and if any phrase, clause, sen-
tence, paragraph or section of this ordinance shall be declared.
void, ineffective, or unconstitutional by the valid judgment or
final decree of a court of competent jurisdiction, such voidness,
ineffectiveness, or unconstitutionality shall not affect any of
the remaining phrases, clauses, sentences, paragraphs and sec-
tions hereof, since the same would have been enacted by the
City Council without the incorporation herein of any such void,
ineffective or unconstitutional phrase, clause, sentence,
paragraph or section.

SECTION 11.
That any person, firm or corporation who violates,
disobeys, omits, neglects, or refuses to comply with, or who
resists the enforcement of, any of the provisions of this
ordinance shall be fined not less than Five Dollars ($5,00)
nor more than Two Hundred Dollars ($200,00) for each offense.
Each day that a violation is permitted to exist shall con-
stitute a separate offense.
SECTION 12.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force and effect from and after its passage and publication
as required by law,
