HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 6104 ORDINANCE NO. AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND VACATING ALL OF THE UTILITY EASEMENTS LOCATED IN TRACT 2 OF THE F. S. PERRY SURVEY IN THE CITY OF FORT WORTH; AND PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF THE INTEREST OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH IN SAID LAND. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the utility easements 10 feet in width and 1,390 feet in length, being all of the utility easements located in Tract 2 of the F. S. Perry Survey, which tract is herein- after more particularly described, be and the same are hereby extinguished, vacated, closed and permanently abandoned as easements for public utilities: Tract 2, F. S. Perry Survey BEGINNING at a steel rod in the northeast right of way line of Southwest Boulevard, said rod being at the most southerly corner of Lot 1, Block 10, Ridglea South Addition to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas; THENCE north 380 26' east- with the southeast lines of Lots 1 through 4, Block 10, in Ridglea South Addition, a distance of 400.05 feet to a steel rod for corner; THENCE north 580 44' east along the southeast line of Lot 6, Block 10, Ridglea South Addition, a distance of 56.60 feet to a steel rod; THENCE north 70 24' east along the east line of said Lot 6, Block 10, a distance of 122.00 feet to a steel rod in the south line of Chickering Road; THENCE along the south line of Chickering Road, south 82° 36' east 230.80 feet to the beginning of a curve to the left with a radius of 363.82 feet, easterly along the arc of said curve a distance of 325.20 feet, and north 46° 11' east 7.40 feet to the most westerly corner of Lot 24, Block 50, Ridglea Hills Addition; THENCE south 350 04' east along the southwest lines of Lots 24 and 25, Block 50, Ridglea Hills Addition, 167.00 feet to a point in the east line of the F. S. Perry Survey and at the northwest corner of Lot 26, Block 50, Ridglea Hills Addition; THENCE south 20 11' west along the east line of the F. S. Perry Survey and the west lines of Lots 26 through 30, Block 50, Ridglea Hills Addition, a distance of 439.10 feet, passing the south corner of said Lot 30, in all a distance of 638.30 feet to a steel rod for corner; THENCE south 890 55' west 651.80 feet to a point in the northeast right of way line of Southwest Boulevard; THENCE along said right of way line north 461 40' west 128.90 feet to the beginning of a curve to the left with a radius of 2865.00 feet, north- westerly along the arc of said curve a distance of 227.90 feet to the point of beginning, and containing 12.213 acres of land more or less. SECTION 2. That the interest of the City of Fort Worth in the fee to the land in said easements above described is hereby re- leased and shall revert to the adjacent owner of the fee as provided by law. SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 4. MAHC NEYBelou Manor Limited has requested that the City vacate all of the utility GRAHAM easements which are 10 feet in width and 1,390 feet in length, as shown on the attached map. SUCKMAN The subject easements are not needed in their present locations. The applicant has submitted a replat which provides alternative easements satisfactory to all City departments and the utility companies. Private utility companies and City departments have reviewed this request and do not object to the proposed vacations. The City Plan Commission has reviewed the subject request and recommends Adoption of an ordinance vacating the easements as requested. Recommendation It is recommended that an ordinance be adopted vacating the subject ease- ments as recommended by the City Plan Commission. HDM:ms Attach.
