AN ORDINANCE REFERRING BIDS FOR THE IMPROVEf-fMT OF
PORTIONS OF VARIOUS STRESTS AT EIGHT (8) LOCATIONS
IN THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, =AS, TO THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT
FOR A REPORT THEREON
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS
SECTION 1.
That Bids for the construction of improvements on streets at eight (8)
locations, being portions of North Commerce Street, Kilpatrick Avenue,
Avenue "M", South Main Street, North-West Twenty-Eighth Street, Wayne Street,
and North-West Twenty-Seventh Street in the City of Fort Worth, Texas,
having on the 21st day of February, 1957, been opened and read and the
following persons had filed bids for the performance of such work or part
thereof, to-wit:
1. General Construction Company, Fort Worth, Texas
2. Texas Bitulithic Company, Fort Worth, Texas
that such Bids be and the same are hereby referred to the Public Works Depart-
ment, which is directed to cause to be promptly filed with the City Council a
report and recommendation thereon.
SECTION 2.
That this Ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage.
