AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND VACATING THE THREE
FOOT UTILITY EASEMENT ADJACENT TO THE SOUTH
LINE OF LOT 1E, BLOCK 25, WOODHAVEN GOLF
VILLAS, A SUBDIVISION OF LOT 1, BLOCK 25,
WOODHAVEN COUNTRY CLUB ESTATES, AN ADDITION
TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TARRANT COUNTY,
TEXAS; AND PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF
THE INTEREST OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH IN
SAID LAND.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That the hereinafter described three foot utility ease-
ment adjacent to the south line of Lot 1E, Block 25, Woodhaven
Golf Villas, a subdivision of Lot 1, Block 25, Woodhaven Country
Club Estates, as recorded in Vol. 388-75, page 3, of the Plat
Records of Tarrant County, Texas, be and the same is hereby ex-
tinguished, vacated, closed and permanently abandoned as an
easement for public utilities:
Commencing at the southeast corner of Lot 1E;
Thence N. 87039' W. a distance of 10.0 feet
to the point of beginning of the strip of land
to be described;
Thence N. 87039' W. a distance of 65.39 feet
to a point;
Thence S. 05005' E. a distance of 3.03 feet
to a point;
Thence S. 87039' E. a distance of 65.0 feet
to a point;
Thence N. 02021' E. a distance of 3.0 feet to
the point of beginning and containing 196 square
feet of land.
SECTION 2.
That the interest of the City of Fort Worth in the fee
to the land in said easement above described is hereby re-
leased and shall revert to the adjacent owner of the fee as
provided by law.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force and effect from and after the date of its passage.

Hershel Reese Builders, Inc. , o�mer of all abutting property, has requested that
WILD 'OEFthe City vacate part of an easement that part being 3 feet in width and 65 feet
iin depth adjacent to the south line of Lot 1E, Block 25, Woodhaven Golf Villas,
�"" Woodhaven Country Club Estates, as shown on the attached map.
The subject easement, acquired by dedication, is open but not in use. The re-
viewing City departments and private utility companies have no objections pro-
vided the easement is removed by a replat of the property. Such a replat has bee
furnished to the City staff.
The City Plan Commission has reviewed this request and recommends adoption of an
ordinance vacating the easement as requested.
Recommendation
It is recommended that an ordinance be adopted vacating subject easement as recom
mended by the City Plan Commission.
