AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT WEST TERRELL STREET
FROM THE EAST LINES OF LOTS 32 AND 33, DISSEL
TRACT, WESTWARD TO NINTH AVENUE; THE NORTH-
SOUTH ALLEY IN THE DISSEL TRACT FROM COOPER
STREET SOUTH A DISTANCE OF 358 FEET; THE EAST-
WEST ALLEY FROM NINTH AVENUE EASTWARD TO THE
EAST LINES OF LOTS 21 AND 32, DISSEL TRACT;
AND THE EAST-WEST ALLEY FROM NINTH AVENUE EAST-
WARD TO THE EAST LINES OF LOTS 33 AND 44,
DISSEL TRACT, BE VACATED, ABANDONED AND CLOSED;
PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF THE INTEREST OF
THE CITY OF FORT WORTH IN SAID LAND; REPEALING
ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVID-
ING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That West Terrell Street from the east lines of Lots
32 and 33, Dissel Tract, westward to Ninth Avenue be and
the same is hereby closed, abandoned and permanently vacated
as a street or public thoroughfare of any kind or character
whatever; and that the following described alleys in said
Dissel Tract be and the same are hereby vacated, closed and
permanently abandoned as alleys or public thoroughfares of
any kind or character whatever:
The north-south alley from Cooper Street
south a distance of 358 feet, and excluding
that portion of said alley adjacent to Lots
16 and 44, the south 42 feet of Lot 17, and
the south 21 feet of Lot 33;
The east-west alley from Ninth Avenue
eastward to the east lines of Lots 21 and
32; and
The east-west alley from Ninth Avenue
eastward to the east lines of Lots 33 and 44.
SECTION 2
That the interest of the City of Fort Worth in the
fee to the land in said street and alleys is hereby released
and shall revert to the adjacent owner of the fee as pro—
vided by law.
SECTION 3,
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force and effect from and after the date of its passage.

I �dical Plaza, Ltd. , owner of all adjoining land has requested that the City
vacate the following public rights-of-way as shown on the attached map:
p 1. West Terrell Street from the east lines of Lots 32 and 33, Dissel
Tract westward to Ninth Avenue;
2. North-South Alley in the Dissel Tract from Cooper Street south a
distance of 358 feet and not to include that portion of said alley
adjacent to Lots 16 and the south 42 feet of Lot 17;
3. East-Vest Alley from Ninth avenue eastward to the east lines of
Lots 21 and 32, Dissel Tract;
4. East-West Alley from Ninth Avenue eastward to the east lines of
Lots 33 and 44, Dissel Tract.
Subject rights-of-,way, acquired by dedication, are unimproved. If this re-
quest is granted; the Applicant will replat the vacated rights-of�way with
adjoining property in order to provide a unified site for a proposed new
medical complex. City departments and private utility companies have re-
viewed this request and have no objections provided the Applicant replats
and makes satisfactory arrangements for either relocation or abandonment of
all existing utility facilities.
The City Plan Commission has reviewed this' request and recommends adoption
of an ordinance vacating the public rights-of-way as requested. The Appli-
cant has submitted -a replat and has made satisfactory arrangements for dis-
position of all existing utility facilities.
Recommendation._
It is recommended that an ordinance be adopted vacating subject rights-of-way
as recommended by the City Plan Commission.
