ORDINANCE NUMBER 308.
AN ORDINANCE A'�UH�T`OR'ISING THE ISSUANCE AND EXECUTION OF A PROMISSORY

WHEREAS the City of Fort Worth and the Freehold 2roperty Company
have this day entered into a contract by the terms of which said Company
advances to the City of Fort Worth the sum of Twenty five hundred dollar
to be expended in the construction of a sewer system in Lake View Addit-
ion to the City of Fort Worth. And by the further terms of said contract
said City of Fort Worth agrees to repay said sum in three years from date
without interest; and further agrees to execute a note for said sum of
twenty five hundred dollars, in favor of the Freehold Property. Company
or order, ,due three years after date, witkiout interest if paid at
maturity;
NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF C014' U SSIONERS OF THE CITY
OF FORT WORTH:
That the Mayor and City Secretary of the City of Fort Worth be, and
they are hereby authorised and directed to prepare and execute, in
the name, and for and on behalf of the City of Fort Worth, and under
its Corporgte Seal, as the act and obligation of said City, one
promiseory note of the Corporate government of said City yn the sum
of Twent five hundred dollars ($2500) dated the fL day of
lZ l without interest t.ut
providi for interest at the rate of eight per cent-(8%1 from
maturity and ten per cent Itorney's fees if collected by suit, the
principal of the note being payable to the Freehold Property Company
or order three years after date at the American National Bank in
Fort Worth, Texas.
This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after
its passage.
I hereby certify that the above and fore going ordinance was
duly presented and unanimously passed and adopted by the Board of
Commissioners of the City of Fort Worth at a session of said Board
Held Saturday May 25th,1912.

Dear Sir,
I hand you herewith a map of Lake View Addition whereon I have
marked in red the lots to be served with sewerage and in blue the lots
not covered in the Contract .
I notice there is not more than 14,000. to 16,000. feet of
sewerage to be laid in Lake View Addition to serve these lots and
presume that the Engineers estimate of 17,500. feet covers main sewer-
age eltensions outside of 'Lake View Addition, which will help others
than ake View residents and owners :
To keep the record straight you will notice this map which
forms part of the contract includes the following:-
the south half of Blocks Two & three an all of Blocks four( 4) five
( 5) Six (6) Seven (7) Eight k) Nine 19) Ten( 10) and Eeleven. ( 11d. ) : also
the southf half of Blocks twenty (20) Nineteen ( 19) and twenty five(25
and twenty six (26) .
and all of Blocks Fifteen (15) Sixteen (16 Seventeen ( 17) Ei hteen( 18)
twenty seven (27) twenty eight(28) thirty W) thirty one (31) thirty -
two (32) thirty three ( 33) thirty four (34) thirty five (35) and thir:,;;:

all in Lake View Addition to the City of Fort Worth, according to the
plat filed and on record in tie office of the County Clerk of Tarrant
County, 'Texas.
I have signed this map in duplicate and would suggest that you
do so likewise for purposes of identification, which map as you will
notice is referred to in the Contract and is a part thereof.
