11 libraries will be closed on October 12. The three libraries that are normally closed on
mays -- Ncrtsie Branch, BOLD tler Outreach Library Division) and COOL (avile
Outreach Opportunity Library) --will be closed for heir furlough day on Saturday, October 10. N
materials will be due, no online requests will be processed and book drops will be closed at all
libraries on October 12.
Due to previously confirmed events. the Convention Center's first furiough furlough day will be Monday,
Or-tro er 5 and the Will Rogers Memorial Center's will be Monday, November 16, All other

general employees who are required to work on October 12 will furlough on another date in order
to meet the adopted budget.
The Community Relations Department will also be using a variety • tools in English and Spanish
to inform the public of changes to city services resulting from the October 12 furlough including:
*A Reverse 9-1-1 phone message to the entire city beginning September 30 and
continuing through October 11
• Informational Hotline (817-392-2255) to provide information on availability of city services
and programs
• News releases to the media
• Signs posted at all city facilities that will be closed October 12
• City Web site
-City Page advertisement in the Star-Telegram, La Vida News -The Black Voice and La
Estrella En Casa
• City Cable
*Neighborhood E-news e-mail updates to neighborhood organization and subscribers
• ACToday employee e-mails
Frequently asked questions about furloughs and information on city services available on October
12 will be provided to city employees to enable them to effectively respond to customers.
