Kayser, City Secretary With a quorum of the City Council Members present,Mayor Price called the Fort Worth City Council Work Session to order at 3:02 p.m. on Tuesday, February 4, 2020, in City Council Conference Room 290 of the Fort Worth City Hall, 200 Texas Street, Fort Worth, Texas. 1. L pcoming and Recent Events City Manager Cooke announced the following: City Council Planning Retreat on Tuesday, February 11, 2020, at the Meacham Airport Conference Center, 2019 American Concourse. Como Community Center Grand opening on Saturday, February 15, 2020, 4660 Horne St. c. Organizational Updates and Employee Recognition(s) City Manager Cooke called on Mike Crum, Director of Public Events, to introduce Andrea Wright as the new Public Events Assistant Director of Administration and Finance. d. Informal Reports 20-10362 2019 Annual Homeless Assessment Report to Congress - Tara Perez 20-10363 Management Diversity Review - Brian Dickerson 20-10364 Street Sign Topper Program - Catherine Huckaby 20-10365 Texas Enterprise Zone Nomination for Miller Coors LLC - Robert Sturns 20-10366 Update on Competition Fields Upkeep and Repair- Richard Zavala 20-10367 Update on Ongoing Efforts to Improve City-Wide Revenue Collections - Reginald Zeno 2. Overview of Significant Zoning Cases -Arty Wheaton-Rodriguez, Planning and Development Mr. Arty Wheaton-Rodriguez, Planning and Development Department, provided an overview of significant zoning cases. 5. Briefing on Housing Tax Credit Applications - Victor Turner, Neighborhood Services Victor Turner,Neighborhood Services, provided a briefing on the 2020 Competitive 9% Housing Tax Credit Applications. 11 projects will be recommended. Council will act on the Resolutions at their February 28, 2020, Council meeting. 6. Briefing on Local Consultant and Contractor Capacity—Lauren Prieur, Transportation and Public Works and Gwen Wilson, Economic Development Lauren Prieur , Transportation and Public Works and Gwen Wilson, Economic Development Briefed the Council on local consultant and contractor capacity. THey also provided information on upcoming activities to increase MWBE contractor capacity. 7. City Council Requests for Future Agenda Items and/or Reports Council Member Bivens - Responsibility for lights on the highways. Council Member Allen Gray - Code Officer staffing. 8. Executive Session (CITY COUNCIL CONFERENCE ROOM, CITY HALL, ROOM 290) - SEE ATTACHMENT A There was no need for an Executive Session.
