HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 2809 ORDINANCE NO. �2- v v AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT A TRIANCULAR TRACT OF LAND LYING EAST OF PREVOST STREET AND NORTH OF LOVELL AVE- NUE AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF BLOCK 148, mumBERLIN ARLINGTON HEIGHTS ADDITION, FIRST FILING, AN ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS, BE VACATED, ABANDONED AND CLOSED; PROVIDING FOR TTU� P.VIM- SION OF THE FEE IN SAID LAND; .REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREVIITH; AND PROVIDING THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BECO24E EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: . SECTION 1. That the following described portions of streets be and the same are hereby closed, abandoned and permanently vacated as streets or pub- lic thoroughfares of any kind or character whatever: A triangular tract ok land lying east of Prevost Street and north of Lovell Avenue at the southwest corner of-Block 148, Chamberlin Arlington Heights Addition, First Filing, an addition to the City of Fort Worth, Tar- rant County, Texas, more fully described as follows: Being a revision of Lots 20, 21 and 22, inclusive, all of Block 148, Chamberlin Arlington Heights Addition, First Filing, to the City of Fort Worth, Warrant County, Texas, and that tract described as follows: Beginning at a point in the west line, 53 feet south of the northwest corner of Lot 20, Block 148, Chamberlin Arlington Heights Addition, First Filing; thence along a curve across Lots 20, 21 and 22 to a point in the south line of Lot 22, 12J feet from the southeast corner of said Lot 22; thence west 62.5 feet parallel to the north line of said block; thence north 73 feet parallel to the east line of said block to the point of beginning. SECTION 2. That the fee to the land in said streets is hereby released and will revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law. SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 4.
