D. 1983, a resolution of the Publio Reoreation Board. of the City of Fort Vorth duly authorizing same, the President and Secretary of said Board entered into oontmot with Mrs. M. A. Clark and her husband Jemse Clark for the purohass of a treat of land situated in Tarrant County and herein- after fully described, as not forth in said contract, to-wits AND, WNF'RBAS', the Boar4 of Commissioners of the City of Fort Worth and the Public Recreation Board of said City, noting by and through its duly authorized of- ficers, in oonjunation with the City, of Fort Worth, have determined the necessity for the acquiring of preperty for public recreation purposes under and by virtue of authority of Chapter XVIII of the City Charter of the City of Port Worth, said chapter having been adopted by a majority of the qualified voters of the City of Fort Worth at an election held for that purpose on the 22nd day of July, 1932, " it appearing to the Commis- sion that the said Publia Reoreation Aoard eating by and tbrough its ?resident and Secretary, thereunto duly authorized, has entered into oontraot with Mrs. M. A. A. Clark and her husband James Clark, City of Port Worth Warrants in the amount of `Dirty Wine Thousand Nine Hundred ($39,900.00) Dollars, dated Marsh Wth, 1923, to bear interest at the rate of six (e,f) per oentum per annum, payable semi-annually on September 28th and March 28th of emah year. BR IT FURT"R ORDAI1 D that, for the purpose of paying the principal and interest of said warrants as sane matures, there shall be annually levied on each $100 valuation of taxable property in the Oity of Bort Worth a tax sufficient for said purpose; that to provide for the payment of the p,r3na pal and interest of said warrants for the year 1923, there is hereby levied on each A100 valuation of broperty a tax of one—half of one cent out of the tax of rive cents authorised to be levied by the Board of Commissioners in Soo.
