in recess session in the Council Clamber at the City Hall
at a t30 ♦.14e, Thursday, the 12th day of April, .,,. D. 1928,
and upon roll call the following were presents A. $. Thomas,
Mayor Pro-Ten, Dillard Burton, T. Be Hoffer, H. T. Renfro,
Wm. Monnig, W. h.Austin, Van Zandt Jarvis and John N. Sparks,
Councilmen, constituting a quorum and majority of said
Board, and I. L. Van Zandt, Jr., City Secretary-Treasurer,
was in attendance at said meeting, and the following pro-
ceedings, among other things, were had and done:
Councilman Burton, seconded by Councilmen Jarvis,
moved the adoption of the following Ordinances

UCTION I.
That Sections Five (T) and SU(VI) of Ordinanse
No.1403, passed at a regular meeting of the City Council of
Dort ',orth, Texas, on Tuesday the 27th day of March, A. D,
1928, be and the same are hereby amended, and after being so
amended, shall read as followss
"Skenow Y.
That for the purpose of creating a sinking fund for
the payment and complete extinguishment at the fore-
going bonded debt, principal and interest, and all
° nd every part of same, there is hereby levied and
there shall be assessed and collected as provided by
law, act apart and appropriated for t�,e said purpose,
an annual, direct special advalorem tax for tho year
1928, and every successive year thereafter during
the life of said bonded debt or any psi-t thereof of
.46 aents(or such an amount as may be necessary and
adequate be it more or less) on every One hbudred
Dollars( 00.00) of property valuation,, real personal
and mined, subject to tw%tion and not exempt there-
from under the Constitution and lams of the State of
Toxas,situated and owned in the City of Fort Worth on
the ls._ day of January 1928 and on the let day of
January of each year thereafter until said debt repre-
sentod by said bonds and coupon interest notes sft11
have been fully paid,and if, at any times suoh tax
should be insuffialcnt, then it shall be t -e duty of
the City Council or any other governing body of the
City of Fort Worth, to set apart and appropriate such
additional amount of money out of the general revenues
of the said City, as may be requisite to supply the
deficiency until all interest *hall have been paid
and the sinking fund established as required by the
Constitution of tbo State of Texas and the Charter of
the City of Fort YVorth."
"SECTION VI.
That it *ball be the duty of the City Council of the
City of Fort worth and its sucaessers, and of the govern-
ment of the City of Fort Worth# by levying taxes for
ggeeneral purposes for the said City of Fort .north for
the year 1928s and for every successive year during the
life of said bonded debt or any part thereof, to include

SECTION II.
This ordinance *ball take effect and be in force

Kayor Pro-Tom A. 2. Thomas, presiding at said
meeting, submitted the motion to adopt said Ordinance and all.
of the Cenncilws, including the ,tayor Pro-Ten, voted saye"
thereon and none voted "no". and the notion to adopt the or-
dinance was declared to be unanimously passed and adopted.

and foregoing Ordinance is a true and correct copy of Ordin-
anoo No. 1410, and that same was unanimously passed and adopt-
ed by the City Council of the City of Fort worth, Texas, at a
recess meeting held In the Ooozoi7. Chamber at the City gall
on Thursday the 12th day of April, A. D.1928.
