�rdained By the Board of Commissioners
of the City of Fort Worth that Sections Three and
Four, Article One, Chapter Five, Revised Ordinances
of the City of Fort Worth adopted Jat aa.ey 26th,
A. D. 1915, be and ", e same are hereby amended so
as to read as follows, to wit:
! Section 2:
E don 3. Storing Gasoline, eto.- Hereafter it
shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation
to store or keep u hand at any time or in any one
building in the City of Fort orth, under their
control or occupied by them, a quantity exceeding
fifteen gallons of gasoline, benzine, naptha or similar
volatile liquid or substance. Said quantity shall be
kept in metal cans properly sealed. Provided, however,
that any quantity not exceeding 100 gallons of gasoline,
benzine, naptha or similar volatile substances Aay be
kept in a heavy metal tank or tanks used for that
purpose on the outside of any building, if buried
undergr—n3 or if stored in fireproof tanks, used
exclusively for said purpose. ' Said tank or tanks
shall not be filled, nor shall delivery be made .
therefrom, nor shall any of said substances be handled
at any time by artificial light, and under no

circumstances after sundown of any day; provided,
further, that the provisons of this article aha,ll
not be construed to prevent any person, firm or
corporation from erecting safe and suitable buildirgs
and tanks for the purpose of storing and distributing
at wholesale the above mentioned articles, but none
such «e;reafter Erected shall be located within 150
feet of any other building; provided, further,
that the provisions of this article shall not be
construed to cover the gasoline or benzine contained
in any automobile or automobiles when kept or
a:�r,,A_1n any jra or building used for the
storage of such automobiles, or gasoline engines. ^�
Section 4: Penalty.- Any person, firm or
corporation violating any provisions of this
ordinance shall upon conviction thereof be fined
in any sum not exceeding one hundred dollars; and
each day such substance is kept contrary to any
provision hereof shall constitute a separate offense
and be punished as such.
This Ordinance shall take effect from and after
its passage and publicatIcn as required by law.
