AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT WESTFORK STREET FROM
MUSTANG STREET NORTH IN THE CITY OF FORT WORTH
BE VACATED, ABANDONED AND CLOSED; PROVIDING FOR
THE REVERSION OF THE INTEREST OF THE CITY OF FORT
WORTH IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN
CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That Westfork Street from Mustang Street north be and
the same is hereby closed, abandoned and permanently vacated
as a street or public thoroughfare of any kind or character
whatever.
SECTION 2.
That the interest of the City of Fort Worth in the fee
to the land in said street is hereby released and shall revert
to the adjacent owner of the fee as provided by law.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force
and effect from and after the date of its passage.

Tarrant County Water Control and Improvement District Number One, owner of
all adjoining property, has requested vacation of Westfork Street from Mus-
tang Street north, as shown on the attached map. The street is being aban-
doned in connection with rechannelization of the west fork of the Trinity
River.
Private utility companies and City departments have reviewed the request
and do not object to the proposed vacation.
The City Plan Commission has reviewed the request and recommends adoption
of the ordinance that has been prepared vacating the street as requested.
