AN ORDINANCE REFERRING BIDS FOR THE IMPROM1ENT
OF PORTIONS OF MEEKER BOULEVARD, NORTHWEST TWENTY-
EIGHTH STREET, NORTHWEST LORAINE STREET, AND
NORTHEAST THIRTY-FIRST STREET IN THE CITY OF FORT
WORTH, TEXAS, TO THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT FOR
A REPORT THEREON.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS
SECTION 1
That Bids f or the construction of improvements on Meeker Boulevard,
Northwest Twenty Mighth Street, Northwest Loraine Street, and Northeast
Thirty-First Street, in the City of Fort Worth, Texas, having on the loth
day of September 1957 been opened and read and the following persons had
filed for the performance of such work or part thereof, to wit:
1. Texas Bitulithic Company, Fort Worth, Texas
2. General Construction Company, Fort Worth, Texas
that such Bids be and the same are hereby referred to the Public Works
Department, which is directed to cause to be promptly filed with the City
Council a report and recommendation thereon.
SECTION 2
That this Ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage.

Your Public Works Department, to which was referred the Bids for the
improvement of portions of Meeker Boulevard, Northwest Twenty-Eighth Street,
Northwest Loraine Street, and Northeast Thirty-First Street, hereby respectfully
reports to your Honorable Body that it recommends the acceptance of the Bid of
Texas Bitulithic Company for the performance of said work at and for the follow-
ing prices, to-wit:
