BEACH STREET TO AWARD STREW, BE VACATED, ABANDONED AND CLOBEDt PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF THE FEE IN SAID LANDt REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND PROVIDING THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS t SECTION 1. That the alley in Block 21, Sycamore Heights Addition, from Beach Street to ward Street, be and the same is hereby vacated, closed and permanently abandoned. SECTION 2. That the tee to the land in the above described vacated alley is hereby released and will revert to the adjacent owners as provided by law, save and except that easements are reserved therein for any and all utilities. SECTION 3. All ordinances or pasts of ordinances in conflict here- with are hereby repealed. SECTION 4. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage and it is so ordained. APPROVED AS TO FORM AND LEGALITY S. G. Addition (V-75-47) Iof 1 W,,rt.,44' 1 The Director of Public Works, with the consent of all abutting owners, has requested that the City vacate the alley in Block 21, Sycamore Heights Addition, from4Beach Street to Ward Street, as shown on the attached map. Subject right-Cf-way, acquired by dedication, is open and unpaved and contains sewer, electric, gas, and telephone facilities. The agencies responsible for these public facilities request the vacated right-of-way be retained as a utility easement. Reviewing City departments and private utility companies have no objections to this request provided the vacated right-of-way is designated as a utility easement. The City Plan Commission has reviewed this request and recommends that an ordinance be adopted vacating subject alley right-of-way as requested. Recommendation It is recommended that an ordinance be adopted vacating alley right-of-way as recommended by the City Plan Commission.
