AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT DARWIN STREET FROM THE WEST
LINE OF FOREST PARK BOULEVARD TO THE SOUTH LINE OF THE
T. & P. RAILROAD RIGHT OF WAY AND AN UNNAMED STREET ADJA-
CENT TO LOT 7, BLOCK 1, NORTH MISTLETOE ADDITION TO THE
CITY OF FORT WORTH, TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS, BE VACATED,
ABANDONED AND CLOSED; PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF THE
FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME
EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That Darwin Street from the west line of Forest Park Boulevard to
the south line of the T. & P. Railroad right of way and the unnamed street
adjacent to Lot 7, Block 1, North Mistletoe Addition to the City of Fort
Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, be and the same are hereby closed, abandoned
and permanently vacated as streets or public thoroughfares of any kind or
character whatever.
SECTION 2.
That the fee to the land in said street is hereby released and will
revert to the adjacent owners as provided by law, save and except that an
easement is reserved for any and all existing utilities.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed..
SECTION .
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and ef-
fect from and after the date of its passage.
