AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2082, BEING AN ORDINANCE TO REGULATE AND RESTRICT THE LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES, AND LAND FOR TRADE, INDUSTRY, RESIDENCE OR OTHER PURPOSES, THE HEIGHT, NUMBER OF STORIES, AND SIZE OF BUILDINGS AND OTHER STRUCTURES, THE SIZE OF YARDS AND OTHER OPEN SPACES, AND THE DENSITY OF POPULATION, AND FOR SAID PURPOSES TO DIVIDE THE MUNICIPALITY INTO SUCH DISTRICTS OF NUMBER, SHAPE AND AREA AS MAY BE DEEMED BEST BY FIX- ING DEFINITE USES OF THE BUILDINGS HEREINAFTER ERECTED IN SAID DESCRIBED AREAS FROM THE USES AS SHOWN ON THE MAPS CONTAINED IN SAID ORDINANCE NO. 2082; PRESCRIB- ING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; PROVIDING A FINE OF NOT LESS THAN FIVE DOLLARS (45.00) NOR MORE THAN FIFTY DOLLARS ($50.00) FOR EACH OFFENSE, AND THAT EACH DAY THAT A VIOLATION IS PERMITTED TO EXIST SHALL CONSTITUTE A SEPARATE OFFENSE; AND NAMING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: SECTION 1, That Ordinance No. 2082 be amended so that the zone affecting the hereinafter described property shall be altered and changed as follows, to wit: r All that certain lot, tract or parcel of land situated in Tarrant County, Texas, known as: A tract of land out of the E. Southerland Survey 350 feet north and south and 636 feet east and west, bounded on the west by Stadium Drive, on the east by Wabash Avenue, on the north by Butler Street, and on the south by Dryden Road, be and the said tract is hereby changed from "A" (One Family District) to "E" (Commercial District). SECTION 2. Improvements constructed on the property described in Section 1 of this ordinance shall be in accordance with a plan of subdivision filed by Grace Kell Jung with the City Secretary of the City of Fort Worth, Texas, to which record reference is here made. SECTION 3. Should any section, clause or provision of this ordinance be de- clared by the court to be invalid, the same shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole, or any part thereof, other than the part so declared to be invalid. SECTION 4. Any person, firm or corporation who violates, disobeys, omits, neg- lects or refuses to comply with or who resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be fined not less than Five Dollars ($5.00) nor more than Fifty Dollars ($50.00) for each offense. Each day, that a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense. SECTION 5. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage and publication as required by law.
