A k/�' AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT THE ALLEY IN BLOCK 100, NORTH FORT WORTH ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS, BE ABANDONED, VACATED AND CLOSED; PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF THE INTEREST OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the alley in Block 100, North Fort Worth Addition to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, from N.W. 14th Street north to N.w. 15th Street, be and the same is here- by vacated, closed and permanently abandoned as an alley or public thoroughfare of any kind or character whatever. SECTION 2. That the interest of the City of Fort worth in the fee to the land in said alley is hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owners of the fee as provided by law, save and except that easements are reserved therein for storm drain, water, sanitary sewer, electric and gas utilities, and no fences shall be permitted to be placed therein except at street property lines. SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 4. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage. W. 14th Street north to N. W. 15th Street, as shown on the attached map. Subject alley, acquired by dedication, is unpaved, but open and contains sanitary sewer, electric and gas facilities. The agencies responsible for these public facilities request that the vacated right-of-way be retained as a utility easement.The Water Department requests that no crossfencing, except at street property lines, be allowed. Reviewing Ci,ty departments and private utility companies have no objections to this request provided: 1. The vacated right-of-way is retained as a utility easement; 2. No crossfencing except at street property lines is permitted. The City Plan Commission has reviewed this request and recommends that an ordinance be adopted vacating subject right-of-way as requested. Recommendation It is recommended that an ordinance be adopted vacating subject right- of-way as recommended by the City Plan Commission.
