AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT AN ALLEY IN THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS, BE VACATED, ABANDONED AND CLOSED; PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF THE FEE IN SAID LAND; RESERVING EASEMENT FOR EXISTING UTILITY LINES; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: Section 1. That the following described alley be and the same is hereby closed, abandoned and permanently vacated as an alley or public thoroughfare of any kind or character whatever: A 16 ft. designated alley right of way running east and west through Block 43, Chamberlain Ar- lington Heights Addition, First Filing, from Sanguinet Street to Camp Bowie Boulevard, between Lots 28 through 40, on south side of alley and Lots 1 through 9 on north side, see plat of Block 43 attached, save and except easements for exist- ing utility lines. Section 2. That the fee to the land in said alley is hereby released and will revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law. Section 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. Section 4. The Public Works Department has received corresp6hdence from all interests parties and none objects to the closing. The request has been investigate on the ground and the alley was found not to be in use by the public, neither dogs it appear that 'this alley will be of use to the public in the future. Tho description is as follows: All that portion of the alley in Block 43, Chamberlin-Arlingtmtt Heights Addition, to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas between Byers Ave. and Collinwood Ave. from the -southr. , easterly line of Camp Bowie Blvd, to the west line of Sanquinio Street, save and except easements be reserved for any or all existing utilities. It is recommended that the ordinance as prepared by the Legal Department for the closing of the alley he adopted.
