On this the day. of y, D. 1920 at a regular meeting
of the^Commis inners off s, Texas, at regular session
assembled, came on to be heard the petition of W. J. Bailey to
permanently close and vacate as a part of Jennings Avenue and Thirteenth
Streets two certain strips of land, being the property of the said W. J.
Bailey, within his enclosure adjoining Lots Nos. One (1) to Twelve (12),
in Block No. Six 6
inclusive, in Jennings �a t or Avenue Addition to the City of Fort Worth,

metes and bounds as follows:

First Strip. Beginning at the South-East corner of Lot No. One
(1) above mentioned; thence South 1 15/100 feet; thence East 1 6/10
feet to a point 1 15/100 feet South and 1 6/10 feet East of the South-
East corner of said Lot No. 1; thence North along the East line of
Jennings Avenue as now located on the ground to a- point 9 15/100 feet
South and 2 6/10 feet East of the North-East corner of Lot No. Twelve
(12) above mentioned; thence West 2 6/10 feet to the East bouralarg
line of said Lot No. 12; thence South with the East boundary lines of
said lots to the place of beginning.
Second Strip. Beginning at the South-West corner of said Lot No.
1; thence South 1 4/10 feet to the Forth line of Thirteenth Street as
located on the ground; thence East with the North line of said
Thirteenth Street as located on the ground and the South line of the
building to a point 1 15/100 feet South of the South-East corner of said
Lot No. 1; thence North 1 15/100 feet to the South-East corner of said
Lot No. 1; thence West 100 feet to the place of beginning;

and it appearing to the Court that W. J. Bailey is the only person
in any way interested in said property, and that said two strips
of land have never in fact heretofore been used, considered or
treated as any part of said streets, but on the contrary have at :

entitled to the relief asked, and no objection being made thereto,

Section 1. Be it ordained by the Commissioners of The
City of Fort Worth, Texas, that said application be and the same is
hereby granted, and that said .strip of land along the West side of
4• Jennings Avenue adjoining Lots Nos. 1 to 12, inclusive, above
mentioned and within the enclosure of the said W. J. Bailey more
particularly described by metes and bounds as follows: Beginning at
the South-East corner of Lot No. One (1) above mentioned; thence
South 1 15/100 feet; thence East 1 6/10 feet to a point 1 15/100

No. 1; thence North along the East line of Jennings Avenue as now
located on the ground to a point 9 15/100 feet South and 2 6/10 feet
East of the North-East corner of Lot No. Twelve (12) above mentioned;
thence West 2 6/10 feet to the East boundary line of said Lot No. 12;
thence South with the East boundary lines of said lots to the place of
beginning, be and the same is hereby forever vacated and closed as

Section 2. Be it further ordained by the ACommissioners e==
of the City of Fort Worth, Texas, that said strip of land along the
North side of Thirteenth Street adjoining said Lot No. 1 above
mentioned and within the enclosure of the said W. J. Bailey, more
particularly described by metes and bounds as follows: Beginning
at the South-West corner of said Lot No. 1; thence South 1 4/10 feet
to the North line of Thirteenth Street as located on the ground; thence
Eset with the North line of said Thirteenth Street as located on the
ground and the South line of the building to a point 1 15/100 feet

South of the South-East corner of said Lot No. 1; thence North
1 15/100 feet to the South-East corner of said Lot No. 1; thence
Test 100 feet to the place of beginning, be and the same is

Section 3. And be it further ordained by the Commissioners

said City, in behalf of said City execute and deliver to the said
W. J. Bailey a special warranty deed cdrrveying to the said W. J.
Bail y all the right, title and interest said City now has or
heretofore ever had to said two strips of land more particularly
described in Sections Nos. 1 and 2 of this said ordinance, and that
said deed be attested by the Secretary, and the seal of the City
affixed thereto, and recite a consideration of Five Dollars and other
things of value unto said City moving, the receipt of all of which is
hereby acknowledged, and contain the other customary and usual clauses
of such deeds.

C Ity of Fort Worth Texas, at a Regular session of said Board held
May 15th, A. D. 19M.
