421, DATED JULY 11TH, 1914, SO AS TO INCLUDE AND EXTEND THE
45 MINUTE PARKING LIMIT FOR VEHICLES ON 1,1AIN AND HOUSTON

LIMIT OF SAID AREA INSTEAD OF ?U11ATHERFORD STREET, AND PRO-
VIDING A PENALTY THEREFOR.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY CDUNCI L OF THE CITY OF
FORT 71ORTH:
SECTION I.
That section 42 of Ordinance 421, passed July 11,
1914, be amended so as to include in the area in which ve-
hicles are limited to 45 minute parking, that portion of
Main and Houston Street lying between its intersections with
.'ieatherford Street and its intersection with Belknap Street,
and the same is hereby so amended to read as follows:
"Section 42. Between the hours of 8A. M. and
6:30 P. M. except on Sunday, no vehicle shall be allowed to
stand for a period in excess of 45 minutes on Main or Houston
Streets between Belknap Street on the north, and Front Street
on the South; and provided further that vehicles which stand
on a block 45 minutes or less and is thereafter ;coved and
returned to the sale block within 20 minutes, that the time
which it stands after returning shall be added to the time
which it previously stood in determining a violation of this
Ordinance, and provided further that on Main and Houston Streets
between the north line of Belknap Street on the north and the
north line of Front Street on the south, no vehicle shall be

SECTION II.
Any person violating any of the foregoing pro-
vision, rules and regulations, or any of the terms of
section 42 in the form amended as appearing in section I
hereof, and who shall fail to obey the same, shall be
deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction there-
of shall be punished mat by a fine not to exceed $100.00.
SECTION III.
Section 42, as originally contained, in Ordinance
No. 421, passed July llth, 1914, is hereby repealed and all
other ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with the
above provision as to section 42, as amended, and appearing
in section I hereof, are repealed, but otherwise this Ordinance
shall be cumulative only as to all sections not in conflict
therewith, and the same are expressly retained.
SECTION IV.
This Ordinance shall be published for five days
before taking effect in the manner prescribed by law.

The above and foregoing Ordinance was duly and
regularly presented at a regular meeting of the C It Council
and a majority of the Council and quorum being present on
Tuesday, Feb. 2, 1926, and having' been read, its adoption
was moved by uncilman 'j i, , and seconded by
Councilman d and thVeupoH being put to a vote
and voting aye an none voting " o", the same was declared
to be unanimou ly adopted and its publication ordered and its
entry upon the minutes directed.
