AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1914, KNOWN AS THE PARKING METER ORDINANCE; PROVIDING THAT SAID ORDINANCE SHALL BE CUMULATIVE OF ALL OTHER TRAFFIC ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH; PROVIDING A PENALTY; AND PROVIDING THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: SECTION I. That Section XVIII of Ordinance No. 1914 be amended to read as fol- lows: A meter zone, No. 1, is established on the follow- ing streets limiting parking to twenty (20) minutes, as follows: STREET EXTENT SIDE Main Weatherford Street south to the West alley between Weatherford and First Streets Main West 7th Street north to include West first three (3) parking meters only West 7th Main Street west to Houston Street North Houston West 7th Street north to include first three (3) parking meters only East Houston Sth Street north to include first West two (2) parking meters only West 5th Throckmorton Street east to the South alley between Throckmorton and Houston Streets West Sth Houston Street west to the alley North between Houston and Throckmorton Streets Lamar West bth Street south to West 7th East Street SECTION II. This ordinance shall be and is hereby declared to be cumulative of all other ordinances of the City of Fort Worth affecting traffic and shall not operate to repeal or affect any such ordinance or ordinances, except insofar as the provisions of such ordinance or ordinances are inconsistent or in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance, in.which instance or instances those provisions shall be and they are hereby repealed. SECTION V. Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate or permit, suf- fer or allow anyone to violate any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of an offense, and upon conviction shall be fined not to exceed the sum of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00). SECTION VI. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and ef- fect from and after the date of its passage and publication as required by law.
