AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT CERTAIN STREETS AND ALLEYS IN THE INTERURBAN ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS, BE VACATED, ABANDONED AND CLOSED; PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF THE FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY CF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the following described portions of streets and the following described alleys, all in the Interurban Addition to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, be and the same are hereby closed, abandoned and per- manently vacated as streets, alleys or public thoroughfares of any kind or character whatever: Weston Street from the north line of Bomar Avenue to the southerly line of the East-West Freeway right of way; Jamaica Street from the east line of Windham Street to Sycamore Creek; The alley between Blocks 2 and 15; The alley between Blocks 3 and 10; The alley in Block 4; and The alley in Block 5. SECTION 2. That the fee to the land in said streets and alleys is hereby released and will revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law, save and except that a permanent easement is retained for ingress and egress over and along the interceptor and collector sanitary sewer main, and no permanent structure shall ever be placed over said main. SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 4. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage.
