AN ORDINANCE EXTENDIM THE BOUNDARY LIMS AMID ANNEXING
CERTAIN TERRITORY LYING ADJACENT TO THE CITY OF FORT
NORTH; PROVIDING THAT THE ORDINANCE BE ADVERTISED IN A
DAILY NEWSPAPER PUBLISHED IN SAID CITY IN ACCORDANCE
WITH THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 40, CHAPTER =11 OF
THE CITY CHARTER; AND PRESCRIBING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That the hereinafter described territory lying adjacent to the City of
Fort Worth is hereby annexed and brought within the corporate limits and
made an integral part of said City of Fort Worth, said territory being
situated in Tarrant County, Texas, and being described by metes and bounds
as follows:
Beginning at the southeast corner of Lot 5, Block 38, Indian
Oaks Addition, said point being in the most southerly southeast
corner of the city limits of Lake Worth Village and also being
in the present City of Fort Worth city limit line;
Thence north along the east line of Dakota Trail extended and
along the present city limit line of Lake Worth Village to a
corner in said city limit line, said corner being 200' south of
the south right of way line of Charbonneau Road;
'Fence in an easterly direction along a line 200' south and
parallel to the south right of way line of Charbonneau Road and
the south right of way line of Jaeksboro Highway and along the
present city limit line of Lake Worth Village to its i.nta5t-. ion
with the east right of way line of Roberts Cut-Off Road;
Thence south along the east line of Roberts Cut-Off Road and
along the present city limit line of Sansom Park Village to a
present corner in the City of Fort Worth city limit line;
Thence in a westerly direction along the present City of Fort
Worth city limit line as follows:
Thence south 89 degrees 32 minutes west 1,651.3';
Thence south 0 degrees 11 minutes east 417.8' to the south-
east corner of the J. M. Bosque Survey;
Thence south 89 degrees 58 minutes west along the south line
of the J. M. Bosque Survey 29091;
Thence south 45 degrees 5 minutes west 799';
Thence south 0 degrees 18 minutes west 634';
Thence north 89 degrees 42 minutes west 1904.4';
Thence north 0 degrees 18 minutes east 2001;
Thence north 89 degrees 42 minutes west 803.21;
Thence north 44 degrees 42 minutes west 848.5 ;
Thence north 0 degrees 18 minutes west along the east line of the
H. B. Smallwood Survey 397.2' to its northeast corner;
Thence north 89 degrees 34 minutes west along the north line of
the H. B. Smallwood Survey 224' more or less to the place of begin-
ning, and containing 778 acres of land.
SECTION 2.
Fort Worth Presa
That this ordinance shall be published one time in the
a daily newspaper published in the City of Fort Worth, in ace
cordance with the provisions of Section 40, Chapter XXVIII of the City Charter.
SECTION 3.
That this ordinance shall become effective and be in full force and
effect upon its final passage, which in no event shall be less than thirty
(30) days from the date of its publication as aforesaid, and it is so or-.
dained.
