FT. WORTH, TEX. BE IT CtDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT' WORTH, TE%AS: Section 1. That the following described territory within the corporate limits of the City of Fort 'north is hereby discontinued as a part of the City of Fort Worth and said tract of land is described by metes and bounds as follows: BEING a tract of land about 12 miles south from the Courthouse of Tarrant County, Texas, and lying in and including all or part of the G. Hamilton, S A & M G R.R. Co., S. Herrera, John Sise, J. Jennings, Henry Lane, William Stone, John Steele, Sarah Gray, I & G N R.R. Co., H. Alsbury, C. Martin, R. W. Waggoner and H. G. Catlett No. S-157 Surveys in Tarrant and Johnson Counties, Texas; BEGINNING at a point in the east right-of-way line of the G C & S F R.R., said point being 2500 feet south from the south right-of-way line of County Road No. 1059; THENCE east, along a line parallel to and 2500 feet south from the south right-of-way lineof County Road No. 1059 to its intersection with the west line of the J. J. Scott Survey; THENCE south, along the west line of the J. J. Scott Survey and the west line of the J. J. Scott Survey, produced south to its inter- section with the south right-of-way line of County Road No. 1078; THENCE west, along the south right-of-way line of County Road No. 1078 to its intersection with the easterly line of the M K & T R.R. Co. right-of-way; THENCE southerly, along the easterly line of the M K & T R.R. Co. right-of-way to its intersection with the south line of Tarrant County, Texas, THENCE west, along the south line of Tarrant County, Texas, to its intersection with the northeasterly line of the H. G. Catlett Survey No. S-151, the present City Limit Line of Burleson; TI10E northwesterly, along the northeasterly line of the H. G. Catlett Survey No. S-151, the present City Limit Line of Burleson, to the north corner of the H. G. Catlett Survey No. S-151, the east corner of the H. Alsbury Survey; THENCE southwesterly, along the southeasterly line of the H. Alsbury Survey, the present City Limit Line of Burleson, to its intersection with the south line of Tarrant County; THENCE westerly, along the south line of Tarrant County, the present City Limit Line of Burleson, to its intersection with the easterly right- of-4iay line of the western route of County Road No. 1017; TH_NCE southwesterly, along the southeasterly right-of-way line of said road, the present City Limit Line of Burleson, approximately 300 feet to its intersection with the northeasterly right-of-way line of the Burleson-Crowley Public Road; THENCE southeasterly, along the northeasterly right-of-way line of the Burleson-Crowley Public Road, the present City Limit Line of Burleson, to its intersection with the northwat line of the H. G. Catlett Survey (No. S-151); THENCE southwesterly, along the northwest line of the H. G. Catlett Survey No. S-151, the present City Limit Line of Burleson, passing a corner of Burleson's City Limits, and continuing southwesterly along the north- west line of the H. G. Catlett Survey (No. 5-151), to its intersection with the northeast line of the H. G. Catlett Survey No. 5-157; THENCE southeasterly, along the northeast line of the H. G. Catlett Survey No. 5-157, to its east corner; THENCE southwesterly, along the southeast line of the H. G. Catlett Survey No. 5-157, to its south corner; THENCE northwesterly, along the southwest line of the H. G. Catlett Survey No. S-157, to its intersection with the east line of the G C & S F R.R. Co. right-of-way; THENCE northeasterly, along the east line of the G C & S F 1R.R. Co. .right-of-way, to its intersection with the south line of Tarrant County, ie present City Limit Line of Crowley; THENCE, along the present City Limit Line of Crowley, easterly, north- westerly, northeasterly, northwesterly, northeasterly, northwesterly, northerly, easterly, northerly, westerly, northerly, and westerly, to its intersection with the east line of the G C & S P R.R. Co. right-of-way; TFMICE northeasterly, along the easterly line of the G C & S F R.R. Co. right-of-way, to the place of beginning and containing approximately 6.006 square miles. Section 2. That this ordinance shall and does hereby amend every prior ordinance in con- flict herewith, and more particularly this ordinance expressly amends Ordinance Nos. 4733, 3893, and 4028, heretofore adopted and passed on October 8, 1962, June 20, 1958, and February 6, 1959, respectively, but as to all other ordinances or sections of ordinances not in direct conflict herewith this ordinance shall be and is hereby, made cumulative. Section 3. If any section, subsection or provision of this ordinance shall be held invalid or unconstitutional by a court of competent jurisdiction, the portion so held to be invalid or unconstitutional shall not affect any other part of the ordinance, which shall remain in full force and effect. Section 4. This ordinance, after it has been duly passed, shall be entered as an order on the minutes and permanent records of the City of Fort Worth, from and after the date of its entry, the territory hereinbefore described shall cease to be a part of the City of Fort Worth. Section 5. That this Ordinance shall become effective and shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, and it is so ordained.
