AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE BOUNDARY LIMITS AND ANNEX—
ING CERTAIN TERRITORY LYING ADJACENT TO THE CITY OF
FORT WORTH; PROVIDING THAT THE ORDINANCE BE ADVERTISED
IN A DAILY NEWSPAPER PUBLISHED IN SAID CITY IN ACCORD—
ANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 40, CHAPTER XXVIII
OF THE CITY CHARTER; AND PRESCRIBING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS.-
SECTION 1.
That the hereinafter described territory lying adjacent to the City
of Fort Worth is hereby annexed and brought within the corporate limits
and made an integral part of said City of Fort Worth, said territory be—
ing situated in Tarrant County, Texas, and being described by metes and
bounds as follows:
Being a part of the Louis Wetmore Survey, Abstract No. 1649,
and adjacent to the existing city limits of Fort Worth, Tarrant
County, Texas, and being more particularly described as follows;
Beginning in the present city limits 300 feet east of the east
right of way line of U. S. Highway No. 81 and approximately 1400
feet south of Seminary Drive formerly Kellis Street), said point
being approximately 1800 feet south and 630 feet east of the
northwest corner of the Louis Wetmore Survey,
Thence north 89 degrees 15 minutes east 308.2 feet for a corner;
Thence north 58 degrees 35 minutes east 250 feet for a corner;
Thence north 49 degrees 40 minutes east 700 feet for a corner;
Thence north 84 degrees 40 minutes east 280 feet for a corner
in the west right of way line of the I. & G. N. Railway;
Thence north 5 degrees 20 minutes west along the west right of
way line of said Railway approximately 805 feet to the eAsting
city limit line in the south line of Seminary Drive (formerly
Kellis Street);
Thence in a westerly direction along the existing city limit
line and the south line of Seminary Drive (formerly Kellie Street)
to a corner in the existing city limits;
Thence in a southerly direction along the existing city limit
line and 300 feet east of the original east line of U. S. High—
way No. 81 to the place of beginning, containing approximately
33.67 acres.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall be published one time in the Fort Worth Star..
Telegram, a daily newspaper published in the City of Fort Worth, in ac—
cordance with the provisions of Section 40, Chapter XMII of the City
Charter.

SECTION 3.
This ordinance shall become effective and be in full force and effect
upon its final passage, which in no event shall be less than thirty (30)
days from the date of its publication as aforesaid, and it is so ordained.
