AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND VACATING TWO UTILITY
EASEMENTS IN BLOCK 35, ALTAMERE ADDITION TO THE
CITY OF FORT WORTH, TARRANT COUNTY, TEXASf AND
PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION or THE INTEREST OF
THE CITY OF FORT WORTH IN SAID LAND.
BE IT ORDAINED BY T88 CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PORT WORM TEXAS;
SECTION 1.
That the following utility easements in Black 35, Alta-
mere Addition to the City of Fort worth. Tarrant County, Texas,
be and the same are hereby aextixaquisihad, vacated, closed and
pezaaneatly abandonad as easements for public utilitiess
Thou east-vast easement 8 feet in width
and approximately 552 feet in length from Karen
Drive eastward to Cherry Laney and
The north-amth easement 8 feet in width
and approximately 220 feet in length from West
Elizabeth Lane southwasd to the north line of
Lot: 9«
SECT MU 2.
That the interest of the City of Fort worth in the fee
to the land in said easements above described is hereby re-
leased and shall revert to the adjacent owner of the fee as
ps,ovided by lair.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full
forts and effect from and after the date of its passage.

The Vantage Company-, owneT-af a31 adjoining property, has requested that
the City vacate two utility easements located in Block 35, Altamere
Additiorli as shown on the attached map and more fully described as follows:
1. An east-west easement, 8 feet in width and approximately
552 feet in length from Karen Street eastward to Cherry Lane;
2.1 A north-south easement, 8 feet in width and approximately 220
feet in length from West Elizabeth Lane southward to the north
line of Lot 9.
The subject easements are presently being used for electric and telephone
facilities. The Applicant, however, has made satisfactory relocation
arrangements with both companies concerned. City departments and private
utility companies have reviewed this request and have no objections provided
the Applicant replats the property.
The City Plan Commission has reviewed this request and recommends that an
ordinance be adopted vacating the easements as requested.
The Applicant has submitted a satisfactory replat.
Recommendation
It is recommended that an ordinance be adopted vacating the subject ease-
ments as recommended by the City Plan Commission.
